I got myself one of these, in my opinion the best looking external ever.

The thing is I can't seem to find (or take myself) a singel picture that really does it justice. It alway looks extremly cheap and plastic, which it neither looks or feels like irl.

Can you stack 'em?

My Drobo. And that drive sitting on top of it would be a Seagate drive that died on me yesterday. I just got it about a month ago, as an RMA replacement for another Seagate drive that crapped out. After their website charged my credit card 4 times for the RMA shipping charge despite saying my card was declined, and not letting me process the RMA, I decided to cut my losses and order a Western Digital drive from NewEgg, and will file a dispute with my bank if the authorization goes through to a charge.

But I love the Drobo. Both times the drive died, it did it's thing and I didn't go a single second without access to my data.

A 5 year old Western Digital, FW and USB ports, rather nice.

I have replaced the internal drive for a bigger 320GB drive: works perfect!

Mine is a LaCie D2 Quadra, 500GB. It has USB, FW400, FW800, and eSATA ports. Even better, it came with cables for all of them.

160GB WD Passport. Got it a year and half ago and it's still running fine. At one time it only had a few MB's left.

640GB WD MyBook. Got it a couple months ago. I love this thing and it has all the space I could ever want. Although, give me about 6-9 more months and it will be full.

I greatly recommend a Western Digital for anyone looking into an external hard drive.
Sorry for the horrible picture quality, they were taken with my crappy camera phone.

Sorry, no pictures, but a nice list:

160GB Iomega 2,5" USB/FW400
160GB Seagate 2,5" in Sharkoon USB-Case
3x 320GB Western Digital Essential USB/FW400
2TB Western Digital MyBook Studio II USB/FW400/800/eSATA

I need that much, cause I'm doing video editing in DVCPro HD on my 2 year old MacBook Pro. Both 2,5" are for mobile editing, one 320GB hangs at my Linksys NSLU2 as Net-Drive, the rest is for local editing, backup or archiv.
