What model is that? Looks great. Got a link?
I have mine buried, on my desk behind homework and projects, so Im using a stock photo of it, I bout the case and installed a HDD, its 250 GB, with your choice of usb2.0, or firewire 400, I of course use firewire 400.
Nice find! where'd you snag it for $80?

g-tech 500Gb . 2 x FW400 . 1x USB2 . been ok , quick enough, solid build.
Little bit peeved when i got it though, it was just before the alu macbooks came out and I was intending to us it with the FW on the new MB, noooo FW on the new MB is there!. so I use this drive hooked up to an old iMac G3 now till I decide what to do....... in the mean time I hope a new Mini comes out.
USB 2.0 is technically faster (480mb/s) than Firewire 400 (400mb/s)
What's the holdup?
Not in a sustained race. Use firewire, then USB on the same drive while moving a few gigs, firewire is almost twice as fast. Those numbers a theoretical maximums, not real world usage.
