Currently burning them in. Gotta do it for at least 300 hours, so it'll be a 2 weeks before I can use them. So far I've gone through 10 batteries on my CD player. At this rate, I'm projecting at least 50 more batteries before it's done.

why dont you plug it into your computer?

If you want bass, get the Sennheiser CX300's. I got mine for $25AUD through a few connections... but seriously, quality is pretty good, mid and high tones are great and the low tones are pretty good for the price. The bass is excellent though.

Wait what? What's the reason for this?

The headphones are SONY MDRV700 DJ studio headphones. I highly recommend them to anyone. There's a reason why they are the most popular personal studio ear monitors.

I second that! I actually have been using the MDR-V600's for about 4 years now, and they've been the best headphones I've ever owned. They look pretty ratty now, but still sound amazing!

My only complaint is that my ears don't fit in them that comfortably (they MAY be a bit on the bigger side), and so I can't have them on for over an hour without some real discomfort.

Having used these, and it's predecessor, at work for years now, i have grown to like them very much.

Good isolation, foldable, good sound - cord is way too long

I have one of these Nokia HS-40:

and a Sony MDR-V150:

the adapter to use both on the same mobile phone is on its way...

I also have the Skullcandy Smokin' Buds. Greatest bass on a pair of buds. I love it. It isolates all other noise.

How are the Beats by Dre? I really want them. But not sure if the quality is worth the price.

I LOVE my ultimate ears Metro.Fi 2 (I wish i had the custom ones, but just the low end for now).

Bose triports, not too great but it was a gift so I'm happy with it.

I do need a beater pair for commutes. I'm thinking of CX300 as a beater, or to make the metro.fi 2's into a beater and upgrading to super.fi 3's.
Any suggestions?

At home: Grado Labs SR80s [wicked sick, specially if attached to an amp]

On-the-go use: Bang&Olusfen A8's [best earphones I've heard, stunning design too)

Travel: Bose QuietComfort 2's [OK sounding, good noise-canceling, being replaced by a pair of Sennheiser PXC450's within the next month or so :D]

Here's a pic of them 3:

Finally somebody else with some Grado's! I have a set of SR-225's right now that I'm going to recable this weekend hopefully and a set of GS-1000's on order :D

I'll probably order a WA6SE from Woo Audio after Christmas too, I love tubes :D
