Found the QC 35 and 20 on Craigslist for a $300 bundle. The former seems quite popular on here, so I'm excited to try them out. Anyone know if Bose honors the warranty regardless of where you bought it?

Wow, that is a good deal. Almost to good to be true. If it's actually BOSE products, I don't think it matters to BOSE where it came from.

As long as you register them for warranty after buying them, they do not care where you got them.

I've heard that the qc 20's are no good for taking calls as they pick up and amplify all surrounding noise but the qc 35's are superb.

I just got the Solitude XCS2. Excellent sound (dual drivers!) and good active noise cancellation:

Since I really don't like wearing my BOSE QC 35's while I'm out and about, I decided to go with the BOSE Soundsport Pulse. Once again BOSE hasn't let me down. The sound quality is great and just what I expect from BOSE. However the five hour battery life had me a little worried, so I decided to pickup the BOSE Soundsport charging case as well which gives eighteen additional hours of battery life.

The Apple dongle thingy is no longer a thought.

Just ordered a pair of Sennheiser Momentum 2 Wireless On Ear headphones. Wanted something wireless and wired, with mic and cannot go for the over ear as I wear glasses and they just aren't comfortable enough for all day wearing (I have a pair of PXC450's that I've had for years but only ever worn on planes when have glasses off).

I know they may not have the absolute best audio quality, but I got them at a decent price. I have a pair of Sennheiser IE8's too which are great for in-ear use, but are not i's so no mic inline. Wanted wireless too. I am having to go to our office more (I work from home usually) so these should be great for using there where I spend a lot of time on con calls. Supposed to have a 22 hour battery life with noise cancelling enabled (which may not need all the time as have an office).

Will post back review once I get them. Will mostly be used with my MacBook Pro at a guess as that is where I have all my music (Spotify) when working so I can easily use the media keys, and also where I take most of my conference calls from (WebEx / VOIP).

I look forward to seeing - and reading - the review when you write it. Meanwhile, enjoy the headphones.

How are you liking them so far?

They should arrive on Tuesday, hopefully will get to do so running them in before the holidays. Will post back what I think of them compared to my other Senn's.

Excellent.

Receiving something of the sort before Christmas is always something to look forward to.

Enjoy them, and I look forward to reading your findings.

Sound Quality is superb. Just wish they was a little louder, but overall very nice earbuds.

I have the same feeling about the Bose QC35. I find them a little too quiet where I normally set my volume on my other headphones.

My phones of choice are:

Grado SR 225 over ear (love these) - for home use
Bose Soundsport in ear - for active stuff
Sennheiser Momentum in ear - for personal listening, movies, on the road, etc.

Can't say enough about Grado. Even their entry level SR80's are fantastic. American made in Brooklyn New York. Great stuff.

Agreed, it seems that Grado is held in very high esteem by many who have used these products.

I've been using a pair of Bose on ear Bluetooth headphones that I got at Costco but I wear glasses and they can get a little uncomfortable after long periods. I just ordered a pair of Bose QC35 over ear which should fit better (I got a discount through my employer). I'll be returning the others when I get these.
