I haven't tested them on the tube, but I can report that they successfully cancel the tumble dryer on my flat. I mean, I'm 5 meters from the thing and I can't hear it.How were they on the Tube?
They are fantastic! I am glad you got them before the weekend and can enjoy them.
I have to say that the H7's (black ones) are way better than the H8's (natural ones) in terms of Bluetooth range. At the gym, where I use headphones the most, the H8's would start to lose signal and cut out within 10 to 15 feet from my phone. The H7's don't lose signal at all. I left my phone in the far corner of the gym and walked to the opposite corner at least 200 to 250 feet away and it never lost signal or cut out.
Sometimes I leave the phone on a table near where I'm working out and go for a lap around the perimeter of the gym between sets and the connection never, ever, fails.
I'm very impressed with these H7's. I almost wonder if there is a defect in the H8's...
It's an Anytime Fitness gym. Usually, most days at the hour I go, I may be the only one there. Other times, the couple of other people that may be there, I trust and am friends with. If it's later in the day where there are more people around, I keep the iPhone in my pocket.Should you have any more of the H7's or H8's end of this month I'll be reaching you to ship North of the border. Been feinding for these for months!

I have to ask what kind of gym is this, where it's safe enough to walk about from your phone or iPod Nano (does anyone use the H7/H8's with the last gen Nano)?
I figure with fitness apps or just the love of music and safety of keeping phone on you (arm band) would be the best option. I could see the phone in a locker that's close to treadmills, but maybe for my gym being quite large in floor space I'm not getting how your gym layout is.
After trying a bunch of headphones today (including many with great reviews yet which I hated), I upgraded from my Sennheiser 555's to OPPO PM-3's with a Dragonfly DAC/Amp.
The OPPO's stood out from like likes of the Grado SR325e's and the Sennheiser 650's. Happy camper.

My initial impressions have been to concur with the reviews. I'm no audiophile so I'd have trouble going into detail, but the difference between the OPPO's and the others I tried was night and day. I struggled to hear an improvement in the Sennheiser 650's over my old 555's (modded to 595's). The Grado SR325e's often sounded sharp and shrill and felt like wearing sandpaper on your ears. 30 seconds with the OPPO PM-3's and I was sold.Do, please, let us know how you find them after you have used them for a while.
There's a bit of an adjustment getting used to closed cans, as opposed to the open Sennheisers, but whatever juju planar magnetics does is worth the trade-off IMO.
I have my limits. Well... my wife has my limits. For only twice as much you can get the open PM-2, which is sounding much better still, apparently![]()

I am currently lusting after the Bowers & Wilkins P9s myself.
Holy Moly... I was really hankering after some P7's... but a friend gave me Dre Studio Monsters... they are not bad at all.
Dunno about the look of them though... not very subtle... heh!
Well, I have the P7s - they are gorgeous - and today, one of my brothers requested that he be allowed 'borrow' a good pair of headphones, as both he and his wife wish to record a few bits and pieces. He does comedy, she is a German teacher and wishes to record classes.
He had his eye on my P5s, but I use them for travelling - and I travel a lot - so I gave him the P7s, - which I use for home listening - and which are better quality anyway, and told him to keep them until after Christmas.
I also have the P5's and P7's but I'd recommend to you, for listening at home and when travelling, the Bose QC 25's. they are extremely comfortable (more so than the B&W's (which are themselves very comfortable)) and the sound, while not "quite" as good as the B&W's, is very good indeed. Bose offer a 30 day trial to help you decide whether to buy or not. I find I use them more than my B&W' now.

I really like them with my Little Dot MK III tube amp. They can be slightly harsh with some material right out of the iPhone because they have more pronounced treble than headphones like the ATH M50s. I have tried them with a lot of amps..solid state, combo, and tubes. These things love tubes.Let us know how you find them.

Beats Solo2 Wireless. I end up returning my QC35s that I had (too much bluetooth interference in the office) so these are my only pair at the moment. Maybe eyeing a pair of P7s or H8s.
How do they compare to the QC35's?
