That happened to my B&Os... sound quality is more than pleasing so far, and for the most careful person I know I'll doubt there's an issue. But thanks

The same thing is happening to my B&Os/// :(

How/where did you go to deal with them???

I bought them at Apple and they are still under the 3 year warranty btw.

i think 90% of the custom series owners have had the cable issue. so yah
i also take big care of my things and didnt really use them allot plus never took them outside.
my turbines sound a little better :) anyway im not so mad because i only spent $150 on the custom 3's when i got them on sale from klipsch. but $300 is a rip off

ughh those skull candies are uterly horrible. i used my friends for a day and i would rather use the ear buds that came with my ipod. i don't think i will ever buy skullcandies again because of how much hassle i have had with them and breaking. i mean there cool about replacing them but i would say i have broken 5-10 of them and now only use my westones.

same here.. i went from three replacement pairs of the original v-moda vibes. and losing my pair of shure e2cs in italy.. to these..
I love them.. i used them on two flights, one of which on a flight with propellers (which are loud) and i couldnt hear any outside noise =] :D:D:D
totally worth the money imo

Yea i got those stolen from me, so i went to a westones um2 pair, much better but no iphone compatibility (which is ok, i figure ill have the headphones longer than ill have the the phone). but those got stolen/lost too. so now i bought another pair. these are much better at representing base than these.

I was a bit reserved about getting them at first, as usually Dennon aren't up to my standards, but they're seriously mindblowing, well good enough for an audiophile like me :p Now perhaps we can do something about my Macbook Pro's audio output because its worse than my iPod's!!

Hmmm... I know mine went down 'cause of me... I wasn't as careful as I should've been and due to their amazing grip to one's ears they got some pulls downwards whilst on the gym or walking around and that prolly caused my right headphone to partially die (it still sounds incredible but not as loud as the left earphone, like if the cable was poorly connected). I'll take mine into the B&O store near my house in Miami once I'm there (should go again in december or such)
good deal, ive been to san jose with royal caribbean 2 years ago :)

Costa Rica rules.

This is something that i dont understand, iPods are the most popular portable music player but the audio is really crappy, it cant handle bass without distortion and it totally lacks any dynamics, and yes, the Macbook Pro is even worse.

I really dont understand this since there is better options available, even my really old Sony Ericsson w880i has a sound production that is miles ahead of any of the ones that Apple are selling.

Because you're not cool unless you own every Apple product...
