I use these:

Sennheiser's HD 555. Really great sound quality and they're very comfortable ;)

Do you use any amps for that? When listening to music, what do you connect it to? I just recently bought the 595s, and I was told that I should look at an amp for them.

So my Shure E2c's cable is pretty beat up, and I need new monitors. Now the question is, take Ultimate Ears TripleFi 10 for 240 € or wait a bit and get UE-4 Pro with custom molds for 500+ €. Also considering M-Audio IE-30, since they use the same technology as Ultimate Ears. I can get these for cca. 200 €. What say you?

I just got a set of these to replace some used and abused, bare wire exposed Shure SE220's. I haven't done a side by side yet, and the Westone's aren't fully broken in yet, but so far I'm pleased. I remember reading that the bass response even against the Shure's was poor. This is untrue. They are warmer and stronger bass wise than the Shures were.

It just makes my christmas to know that I enjoy them now, and from here on out they'll only get better

BONUS: They are the most comfortable to sleep in! Better than my old E2C's were.

UE 18 Pro's. They come January 6th! I can't wait much longer.

I've been using a FiiO E5 to drive my Triplefi 10's up until now...anyone have experience with UE 18 Pro's that can recommend a good portable amp that won't break my bank? Or do you think the E5 will suffice for a while?

i really like the sound, they are even enough for my needs (could do with more bass) - but i think i may be in need of a DAC/amp of sorts. any suggestions?

He won them so it's k :D

Thanks Schneidz! (that's your nickname now) And he's right. I won them.

As far as my budget, uhhh...heh. Well Let me put it this way. I'm a college student, and I don't have a job. BUT, I do graphic design on the side (which, coincidentally, won me these IEMs), so I do have a little bit of expendable income (although I should be saving for a car...pfft, priorities).

That being said, I might be able to squeeze $150 tops. I just don't want the 18's to go to waste being driven by the piss-poor iPod excuse-of-an-amp.
