I'm after a pair of P5's, how good are they with movie watching, I'm going to be using my iPad. Is the bass pretty good for certain types of music though.

Thanks!

Im not much of a movie watcher, so I cannot really tell you now that would be with the P5'S. However, the bass is fantastic on them. There is definitely an emphasis on the warm tone, and the low end, but I think it sounds very accurate. When the song calls for no bass there isn't any, but when you play a song that has bass you definitely hear it! I have always explained the P5'S as that your music doesn't change for the headphones, but rather the P5'S change for your music. I can't say enough great things about them. The Build quality, the sound, the isolation. You really can't go wrong.

take care!

I've never used a headphone amplifier before. Do they really make a difference? And what kind of cable connects the Ipod to the amp? Thanks for your help..

Just did some quick research..looks like the one cable is a LOD cable. I'm looking at an amp on ebay from the seller "juice2214"...anyone know if he makes a decent amp?

thanks again for any help

I would suggest a Pa2v2 amp if you want a smallish inexpensive portable. I bought mine several years ago and recently the cord got torn in half. I sent Gary ( the guy that makes them) an email to see what it costs to replace it and he sent me a new one for free.

Also, it sounds great!:D
