Grado HF2. I've had them for about a month and love them. They aren't made anymore, but found an unused pair for sale...

If anyone is looking into purchasing headphones they should shy away from Dre Beats and Bose. Most of their budget is on marketing rather than research. You can buy much better headphones for cheaper!

Any recommendations for good in-ear headphones with mic control?

Mainly listen to hiphop.

Monster Turbine if available for no more than $100. You can find the a-Jays Four to be a cheaper alternative with slightly less bass too. I'm just throwing things into the air without knowing your budget.

anybody have a recommendation for noise canceling headphones besides the bose and dre variants?

Left: Skullcandy Hesh with ghetto tape job on the left side
Right: Turtle Beach X11

These are no way near the best headphones on the market but all I do is listen to music, watch movies, and play games with them so they work for my budget.

Yea I picked up a pair of A-Jays. Bass isn't too strong.
