Picked these up last week (stock image); I use them for commuting and casual listening; bass is good with detailed high and mid; they don't have perfect sealing since they are supra-aural headphones, but blocks out enough noise [especially when I'm on the subway]. Their fit and comfort is impeccable; read a couple reviews on them noting their comfort and I agree, the feel is excellent. The built-in iPhone controls are handy and switching to a standard cable is a piece-of-cake. Came in a nice microfiber-lined sleeve with a magnetic clasp. Overall a nice package; great headphones [especially if you're trying to avoid Monster/Bose].

Nothing fancy, Wireless one's mainly used for Skype.
I for one like the quality of the Apple headset w/ mic. Don't need anything extraordinary.

anybody have experience with etymotics? i might pick up the new mc2 ones coming out...

http://www.engadget.com/2011/06/13/99-etymotic-mc2-earbuds-claim-market-beating-noise-isolation-f/

Those are exactly like the MC3, just made to be compatible with non-iDevices. You can check out my review of them :)

Those look really cool. How do they sound?

They sound pretty good. Good bass and highs. Mids open up after burn-in time.. I suggest you read my review if you're interested in those :)

Been testing out the SonoCore COA-803+ Dual Dynamic Transducer IEM's extensively. I'll do a quick sum up of the sound in case anyone is interested. :)

page11_blog_entry50_summary-dsc01669.jpg

Now that we have everything else out of the way, let's talk a little bit about sound, which will be quite short since this is a budget IEM.*I wasn't expecting a lot from a $90 earphone, but I wasn't under-impressed either by SonoCore's attempt at the budget IEM market. The sound signature of the Bryan is bass centric. Bass was forward, warm, and had a decent amount of boomy-ness although not enough to be overpowering and bloated. Fun is the best way to describe bass with a tiny bit of texture, and low end rumble being highly present and extension being okay with a slight bit of roll off around the 15-20 hertz range. Attack and decay are pretty subpar and are accompanied by a pretty slow speed.*The midrange, just like the bass, is warm and slightly muddled when bass is present in the background.

It also seems slightly thick and maybe a tad bit laid back. I also noticed a slight peak in the upper end midrange around the 1.6 kHz region on the frequency graph. The treble response is decently extended but overall flat with no obvious peaks or dips, where there seems to be no sibilance or bloomy-ness ever present, and while it doesn't exactly have the best extension in the world, they actually had a pretty good range in them up in the higher frequency levels for a $90 IEM. The best way to describe the high frequency response is warm and smooth, and not even entering near the cavern of being bloomy or analytical. Soundstage was pretty subpar as well with separation, width, and depth being slightly congested.

Overall, I have mixed feelings for the SonoCore COA-803+. While I do like the fun and bass centric sound that the Bryan’s offer, to my ears, it definitely does not match up with its price of $90, as you can find a much more detailed and just as bass centric IEM like the Meelectronics CC51P that retails for the same price. You can pick up the SonoCore COA-803+ for the price mentioned above on SonoCore’s website. Hit up the link for more info.

late to the party, but i would not recommend just the basic turbines. the coppers, golds, and miles davis tribute are all miles better than the base model.

Bought these in December. I pinched the wire by accident. Just got replacements today (one week after i sent them in). best part was they said only send the headphones back as these come with a nice case and a few adaptors. they came in a brand new case with new adaptors so i was excited. great customer service klipsch, very happy!

for anyone wondering these sound great. compared them at an apple store against Bose and Beats for about 45 min - 1 hour. These have a great range and not too much bass but enough were you feel it. They sound is crisp. for $150 they are well worth it.

EDIT: the audio tip in that pic is not the real one. that pic was before they were released. its gold and is a standard audio jack.

Just ordered the a-JAYS one earphones. Similar to the a-JAYS four (above), but just the headphones. no fancy accessories or controls, just sound. Also, according to many reviews, the a-JAYS one has better sound quality than a-JAYS two, three, or four. Also only about half the price. Will update post when they arrive.

EDIT: Just got them in the mail, already loving the tangle-free cable, feel and of course sound quality. Cant wait to hear them after I burn them in overnight tonight.

EDIT (again): The right bud already went out ):< Will return for another pair (if I can)

I have these for my iPhone, they are awesome.

Great value for money, love the tangle-free cable and the design (at a fraction of the cost of Dr. Dre Beats) and fantastic sound with strong but not muddy bass.

I tend to break or lose earphones, so I wanted something that won't compromise sound quality but at a low price. I looked at these Jays buds and they seriously fit the bill. Especially the a-Jays one, these provide the best value for money if you don't need the mic controls.
