Got some Denon D2000s in today:

I will say that the Little Dot seems to drive them better than it does my Beyers.

Immediately off the bat I noticed that they sounded closed in compared to the Beyers and lacked that airy sound, but that didn't take away from their soundstage, instrument separation and imaging. It's immaculate compared to any closed can I've heard. The pads are bar-none the best pads I've come across as well.

I could even drive a 600ohm impedance Beyer pretty decently out of an iPod. Higher the impedance, the lower the amount of wattage required to drive, so easier on the iPod, but a considerable more amount of voltage required for a gain that will actually get it to high volume levels.

These for home and travel:

These for my phone:

Don't bother telling me they suck because I like them. They're bassy and don't cost the earth. Most of my music is between 256 and 320 kbps so more expensive ones would be a waste anyway. Also, they look cool.

Well, not even more expensive equipment will allow you to hear much of a difference between 256/320kbps vs lossless songs.

I have the all aluminum Beats Pro that i've got the the apple store with this awesome aluminum stand.

Woo audio make some great headphone stands, I have the square one, that round one looks really good.

well, last night my girlfriend accidentally stepped (snap!) on my pair of the infamously crap Sony MDR-V150. i have stretched ears and need a cheap pair of supra-aurals for when i'm wearing my plugs (out and about, on the bus, etc). just picked up the Sony MDR-ZX100 for $25 on sale from $35.

they're pretty much the same, only they don't have the annoying super long cable the V150s do. kinda wish the shop had the white ones though. those look pretty sick for a pair of cheap cans.

also, if you own either the MDR-V150 or MDR-ZX100, gently take off the ear pads and turn them inside out. leather! put them back on and they will look and feel a bit better. gotta make the best of a bad situation. :)

my good headphones are AKG K240 MKIIs, which i am totally in love with.

Those look amazing, have been waiting to hear about them. What are your first impressions?

Very balanced sound, sound stage is amazing for IEM headphones. needs a little work on the highs. For $180 IMO its very impressive. Way better than Monster or Beats in the same price range. Love the LOOP design. Very secure and very comfortable for long time wearing.

Very cool! Thanks for the think. I just bought myself a couple of different ones!

Sure! :) I pretty much change colors every few days.

Nice! They don't look all that comfortable. I'm pretty sure if you burn them in, the highs will improve. Don't take my word for it though.

Beats by Dre seem to be very popular! I bough Solo HDs and had to return them and bought Bose AE2. Much more comfortable for me. My sonic earbuds broke so I went to target and bought these new SkullCandy Jibs for running. They look very similar to the Ink'd version but they are $5 cheaper. They sound exactly the same in my opinion. What really made me purchase it, was the fact that it matched my blue iPod nano

I have used them about 2-3 hours, did find that the highs improved a little, how long does it usually take to burn in? My other pair B&W P5 sounds great right out of box.
