Sold my beats studios for m50s a week ago and it's one of the best purchases I've made.

Got mine from guitar center with a coupon for 11% off from retailme.com

I'm really liking the coloring of the Limited Edition ATH-M50 but I don't think I deal with the 11-ft cord. Anyone have any recommendations of coiled vs. uncoiled?

Just got them today. Very comfortable and sound great (at least to me).

Everyone should take advantage of the living social deal!

Get coiled. Everyone I know who has them got the coiled because it's wayyy shorter. It's the ideal length IMO. Not too long, and not too short :)

EDIT: Plus, you can alway stretch it out if you need to.

Why is everyone putting thumbs down at the dr dre ear/headphones?
I don't own a pair myself or am i planning to buy a pair...
just curious

People may think that they're a waste of money, as you can get a significantly better sounding pair for the same price (or a pair that sounds the same for a significantly lower price). People may also think that they are bought purely for the fact that they're popular or look good (the second one is a fine reason to pick headphones, IMO).

If you have no clue about sound quality it might be a fine reason, yeah.

Beats by Dre are just a gimmick. People buy them because of what they are, not what they can do.

Overpriced crap. Anybody with any sense will go for something better ie Sennheiser.

I been rocking the Skullcandy "The Fix" And they are awesome. They never fall out of my ear. By the way I got them for free.

SteelSeries Siberia V2 for PS3. My first gaming headset so I'm pretty excited for them to show up. I've heard great things about gaming with headsets.

these are the ef 5's with the custom molded tips. Now I don't have to wear ear protection in my shop.

any reviews on the reflex? i'm thinking about the living social deal. i know people hate beats by Dre, but i had the solos and i admit i'm not an audio expert but how do these compare to those? are they as loud?

I have never owned a pair or beats so I cannot compare the two, but I do really like my Reflexes so far. They are comfortable (Though i've never worn them for more than 20 minutes at a time) and sound great to my un-trained ears. The deciding factor for me was, at 50% off, what do I have to lose?

My trusty Equation Audio's RP-21 sitting on it's usual perch. Puts out excellent sound for something in the $100-120 range, looks pretty snazzy, and keeps my ears warm.
