I found them really heavy on my head. But definitely best in the Beats by Dre line. But I may treat myself to some Pro Beats. Sound quality and bass is good, noise isolation is brilliant and they feel really comfortable. Build quality is really good too.
sold my beats and ordered some ath m50s, will post pics when they arrive.
also found some old broken bose on ear headphones today. took them apart and placed the speakers in a pillow and connected it to a bedside dock - pillow speaker now
will post pics if anyones interested
You sure they're not fakes?
I am trying out the Bowers & Wilkins P5's today. I've not had a good set of headphones in a while, and my recent airplane trip emphasized how much I hate airplane noise.
Luckily I am still ~5 min from an Apple store.
The demo units sounded bass heavy, and the ones I bought are tuned the same.
I know that sound in this area is subjective, but does anyone else think the same? I don't listen to bass-heavy stuff, mainly rock/alternative/comedy/some top40.
I can play with the eq, I know, but I don't want to always be making adjustments. Anyone else feel the same way?
They may be getting returned soon.
Not normally a Beats basher, but i'd advise against these unless all you care about is looks.
What problem do you have with the beats?
I own a pair and I LOVE them. I use them daily
