Beyerdynamic DT-48 25 ohm. i bought them new.

The sound is very lean, they need amplification and the weight, plus the clamping force hurt my head. Not recommended unless you are a audio purist with masoschistic tendencies.

Beyer are my favourite manufacturer, but I own their home headphones, not their studio sets. My headphones are the DT1350, and the DT880 600Ω. I've got loads of headphone amps for them, but my favourites are the Graham Slee Voyager, the ALO National, and the Porta Tube+ from GoVibe.

Oh yes, here are my favourite earphones: Ortofon eQ5

Does everyone get minuses if they post Dr Dre headphones?? I don't understand

Yes. It makes some feel like 'cool l33t audiophiles' by crapping on someone else's purchasing choice. It would be another thing if Beats owners came on & ranted about how much better they think their cans are, but usually they are just happy to own them.

How do you like them? I have the P5's, get pretty steamy on my ears with the midwest humidity.

Loving them so far. Being used to earbuds I do find I'm a little sore after wearing them for a few hours in the office but it's getting better each day.

Mind posting a mini review?

Of the headphones or the gig? :)

The Pearl Jam show was excellent as always. As for the 'phones, so far I've been limited to listening to podcasts while I re-rip my CDs to iTunes Plus quality. Beyond that I'm no audiophile so wouldn't embarrass myself trying to review them.

Fantastic set of headphones. So comfortable and so cheap. You can probably buy them for 10 on ebay. They are very light too. The cord is 10 ft long.;)

They have fantastic highs and mids, bass is actually very good but not rap music bumpin or anything, their just right.

Just got these Skullcandy Aviator. Love them sound great comfy and coast about 100 less then the horrible Beats Solo. The build on them feels so nice and they look so sick. Just my opinion.

I'm using different headphones since I last posted so I figured I would post again.

When I want an earbud for exercise, running or walking I use these...

I'm very happy with the comfort and the StayHear tips seem to keep the ear buds in place even during running or other motion filled activity. Sound quality is good and they aren't nearly as boomy as the first generation IE's were.

When I want to wear larger headphones I have a pair of Bose QC15's. I find the sound quality to be good and the noise cancellation excellent. You can argue sound preference depending on a users opinion, but Bose does have noise cancellation down to a science.

Has anyone tried any of the new Harman / Kardon range? Looking for something to replace my Sennheiser's ( they've broken :( ).

got those but with the microphone and i actually choose to use them instead of my klipsch s4 for the gym they sound pretty good and not as overly bassy as the first gen and i really like that, they are just fantastic for working out
