Post your iOS 14 home screen layout

Not really liking the idea of widgets on my iPhone’s app screen. Can you still keep them in the widget page by swiping right?
However I may like them on my iPad.

Yes, but there are now two kinds of widgets, the new kind you add by tapping + and the old kind you add by tapping Customize. And you can't mix the two, so the one or two important widgets are at the bottom of the page because you can't move them higher then any of the new kind of widgets. And they removed the Favorites widget that allowed me to quickly send a text to somebody.

Can anyone post the App Library and tell us if you have any control over which folders are there and the order beyond the top two or if it all controlled by the system.

I looked for a way to turn the App Library off completely and couldn't find one.

I’m on the fence. I tend to agree with you. It’s the latest cool new toy for Apple. They are running out of impactful ideas for a new Big Bang release. I definitely see 90% of consumers not using these and App Library and just keeping six pages of apps organized randomly.

I personally think I am really going to like app library. Now I don’t have to keep 100 apps on home screens in 10 folders. The reality is I don’t ever go to a folder anyway. I swipe down and search. But before library you were forced to have them take up home screen space.

I don't have that many apps, and like to keep the stock apps first and then maybe three pages of apps I've downloaded in alphabetical order. When I download something new, I use Reset Home Screen Layout to keep things in orders. I just found out, after deleting all the useless widgets on the left-most screen, that when I use Reset Home Screen Layout, they all come back again. Great.

Resetting should restore them... back to "out of the box" arrangement.
