Where did you get the icons from, if you don’t mind me asking

I'll keep saying this until it happens (or not 😅): I REALLY REALLY hope the new 12 Pro Max will give us an extra row of icons. Please Apple!!

I was just wondering this—do all iPhones, from the biggest to the smallest—have only 7 rows of icons now? Seems a waste of screen space.

Interesting to see people adding Widgets to their Home Screen page... but not moving their Home Screen page to their Widgets page.

I’ve actually been using 3 Siri Suggestions widgets as a auto updating Home Screen based on time and location. Wish you could hide the app names on the proper Home Screen though.

I’m seeing if I can get by with just 12 apps, a Smart Stack and the calendar widget. All other home pages hidden. I really like the App Library, if nothing else it’s made me realise how few apps I do actually use regularly!

Display zoom is "standard". There are 6 rows of icons plus the dock.

Went back to simple layout. Had spent hours on a 3rd party app. Just didn’t like it. Then did the short cut thing. Nope. Back to basic. Some times simple really is better.

Is the dock not another row of apps?
The idea is that every phone between the 4.7 to the 6.5 sizes have the same number of rows. I hope the 6.7 adds an extra.

In my way of thinking, no. When you speak of "row(s) of apps", the dock is separate. No need to be condescending.

Not wasting anymore time arguing about semantics just because you’re bored. And display zoom is not standard on the 4.7” (if zoom is enabled you lose a row and go down to the 4” layout of just 6 rows). So again the point I was making is that there has not been an extra row of icons added to the home screen since the launch of the 4.7” and I’m hoping this new increase in screen size will lead to an extra row.
