lol nice! Im the only one in my entire family that even knows what a Mac or an iPod is. Including distant relatives. It's a pretty sad state of affairs.
 
The Altoids amp is sufficient to drive the 250 ohm Beyerdynamic DT770 which have been recabled with a Blue Dragon cable.
unfortunately iPod have no digital out.

I was asking because I faintly remember seeing DACs that connected to the Dock Connector. Why the recabling?
 
4th generation 20gig b.w iPod (still works), 1st generation 2gig white iPod nano, green shuffle, 16gig iPod touch and just got the 8gig 3rd generation blue iPod nano yesterday! :)

The only one I really purchased was the 4Gen BW, 20GB- 4 years ago.
Waiting to get a new one after Sep 9.

It's only 20GB, I'd prefer to be able to carry my 75GB+ iTunes library around. So I'm waiting for tomorrow to see what happens. Really want a Touch.
 
I have a Mini, a Nano, and a Shuffle. I, along with my wife, also have shiny new iPhones.
