i have a question, do all of you (referring to those with MASSIVE libraries) legally download (aka purchase) all of your songs?

mine isn't including videos, just music.
EDIT: eeeeck i don't know why the attached image doesn't just show up, it's 9.48GB
EDIT 2(couple days later): i should note that i'm not judging if people do pay for everything or not, cause i know i don't! :p

All of my movies and TV Shows are either from the iTMS or they're the digital copy (downloaded from the store duh..) of my Blu-Rays.

On the music side, not all of my music came from MY cd's. a good chunk did (i'll say bout 30%+) and about 50%+ came from CD's I borrowed from some friends. Some odd 200 songs are FLAC torrents and about 150 or so came from my old Limewire library dating back to my non-audiophile days :p (well, wannabe audiophile). Also, some 50 or so songs were bought at the iTMS just I couldn't find em elsewhere. Yeah... I partially say NO to piracy :p

For now, my iTunes situation is annoying in that I have my music library on my laptop and a video library on my NAS at home. I have yet to combine the two (I'm obsessively re-tagging my existing library to add information and re-ripping some CDs) so I'll post my music library now and my video one when I get home.

Of the 88GBs I have to say that 8GBs are from recent months of Howard Stern downloads (I have Sirius, but also download the daily show for an archive, keeping 2-3 months on my computer at a time) and another 6GBs are from a torrent I download monthly of ~100 indie/rock tracks of 'what's hot' - not hot, top 40 hot, but just 'good' indie/rock music. The rest are almost all CD rips at 256kbps, my lossless copies are kept in another folder for back up purposes.

In my case, I'd say that at least half of my content would be movies that I've ripped myself (from purchased DVDs) and put into iTunes. Particularly with HD movies, that pushes up the size by quite a lot.

i tried ripping a DVD yesterday and i was unsuccessful after 3 hours of waiting:confused::(, i don't know if it was my processor's fault or just my crap PC in general.
