I've never been interested in watching it, but I enjoy mini-golf so much that I figured real golf must be 10x better.
And while I've never played before, I have been to the driving range maybe 10 times in my life. It's not much. I haven't been in 2 or 3 years, but it's fun when I do it. I can hit the ball 200 metres every 3 or 4 shots (although I can't guarantee straightness
), and 150 metres straight ahead, and fairly consistently (1 out of 3 shots or so) if I focus on hitting it straight rather than hard.I learnt through watching a 5 minute TSN blip regarding proper golf swings, and keeping your front arm straight. That's the only thing I focus on, and the only thing I know about golf.

I bought Rock Band for PS3 used on craiglist this weekend. I know that Rock Band 2 is out, but I got this for half the price and everything works perfect. I figure that once I am done with this one, I can go out and buy just the RB2 game, and my total investment is less than the price of just one game. Oh, I also ordered a second guitar from Amazon, should be coming next week to complete the setup.

I was totally kidding. Actually, I plan on only using it in my history class, where it's nothing but words and my hands cant seem to write at 8AM. Using it in my econ or chemistry/biology classes wouldn't work out too well!
enjoy your clubs. Golf is so much fun. I started playing this summer and i can't stop going to the range and whacking a few balls., but playing on a course is a lot better. I'm tempted to get a new set of irons (taylor made R7s)
