Just ordered a 2GB Sansa (Sandisk) Clip, probably to replace my 1GB Shuffle. £30 & it has an OLED display, plays .ogg & .flac, EQ, FM radio, voice recording, user selectable MTP/MSC, firmware updates through Linux & is supposedly one of the best sounding players on the market.

Also bought some Sennheiser CX300 for when I don't want to carry my PX100 (or HD485!) or Koss PortaPro.

how are you finding the sennheisers?
thinking about picking up a pair

I never understood the whole "Mac Memory" thing. I'm assuming it's just a cheap marketing ploy to trick people into paying more money for a "Guaranteed-to-work-with-your-computer" product while any other product with the same specifications will work just the well, and probably for less dough?

I don't know but 45 is great. I got some crucial for 40, but 45 is good too.

The one he linked to has better timings (4-4-4-12) than the other dual 2.0gb kits for "PC Laptops" listed on Newegg (5-5-5-14)... That's the only difference I see. $45 is an excellent price!

I'll know in a few days when they arrive - note I said 'ordered' not 'picked up'! I'm a big fan of headband cans, I haven't used buds in years, so it may take a while for me to get used to them...

Well I just sent my MacBook away! In about a week I should be getting one of these!

I can't wait! I also can't wait to see how my new desktop area will look after I reorgnize for it to come into my system!

how would you compare them to the porta pro? how is the bass?

ninja edit: blast. let us know how they are when u get 'em. thanks.

you know that the iMacs will be updated soon, right?

It's a used one. I don't want to wait for some small update to come along, I don't play that game. I mean, if it was a month away, but I'm not waiting until January (that is the usual iMac update right?). I'm basically trading my Macbook for it...

Just picked up a new watch! Great buy! especially at cost ;-) pays to work at a jewelry store, and make great friends with your boss, so that when you leave for a better job and come back, he gives you a deal HAHAHA :p

I hear ya there. I'm currently at a jewelry store as a custom designer using CAD/CAM. The boss is usually pretty cool about hooking people up after they leave. I think I just might have to pick up a diamond before I make my exit there though, just in case. ;)

Picked both up this morning. The nano will be going to my brother and the MacBook stays with me
