I think fanny pack is a US expression.

Fanny has a totally different meaning for us in the UK. ;) Not sure about Portugal though.

In the UK it's usually called a hip pack and/or bum bag. Fanny for us here in Canada/US still means butt as well. SO although you guys don't say fanny per say, you're still saying bum ;).

The first 4 books are the Orphanage Series from Robert Buettner, I have the first book and I loved it. So I bought the next 4 books in the series.
The last book is Gears of War: Jacinto's Remnant, I loved the first book. Definitely a good read for the GOW's fans.

The books are all military sci-fi genre.
