wall-e-plush.jpg

Its what my gf wanted for christmas...

A foot tall wall-e plush.

sick

well, my parents last purhase.

one of my christmas presents:

my class ring. reads: OHHS inside is my name and graduation year (2011)

I havnt decided if i want to get it resized smaller, or just wear it on my middle finger til my fingers get big enough to wear it on my ring finger. it takes 8 weeks to resize and i will probably just have to get it bigger in a year or two. what do you guys think?

You can get some little dots 'welded' on the inside which won't affect the original ring, then if your finger grows you can have them filed off again.

We got a dyson vacuum on ebay. 10% off ebay code+30% cashback=40% off!

Great deal.

Also got some sweet Asics Gel Kinetic kinsei 2's, so sweet! only $92 shipped too. Not a bad deal, considering they cost $160 new.

I say take it to a local jeweler, they will size it sooner, or send it to Josten's or whatever company sells your ring. I personally like them on ring fingers, but its always a personal preference

i did get it from jostens, but i really dont want to wait another 8 weeks to get my ring.. what would a local jeweler do? i was assuming jostens just replaces it with a smaller ring. I dont want it to be cut or anything...

also, do you know if a jeweler would void my warranty? i dont know why you would know that but its worth asking ;)

What is the ring made of? Often they aren't gold (but that's usually the big ones with the huge center stone) and a local jeweler can't work on them. Jostens will just replace it with a new one most likely. If it's gold, a local jeweler can resize it, but they'll cut a piece of metal out and solder it back shut. I do believe it will void the warranty too. Whenever we see one come into our jewelry store we just refer the owner to the company they purchased it from so we don't have to deal with the headache involved.

There are other ways of solving the issue as mentioned, such as the little balls of metal inside the ring. You could also have your local jeweler put a ring guard (see image) on it, then when you no longer want it you can remove it easily. Anyway, good luck. I'm off to go design some jewelry. :)

500GB USB2/FW400/FW800, in a portable hard drive size.

Does anyone have this drive? I can't wait to see the speed increase with FireWire 800 :).
