It's white and cold here.

Smiths are the best sunglasses I've ever had. Their polarization is top notch, and the glasses themselves can stand up to a ton of abuse. Enjoy!

Nike Shox Experience+ running shoes. Reallllly needed new running shoes. Got them on sale at Zappos. Let me say that I am sooo glad Zappos has Nikes these days. Nike has always fit me the best since they are narrow, and Zappos is one of few places with my size (yea, yeah, I have big feets, but I'm 5'11"). These shoes are really comfortable.

Nike+ kit. Now that I have the shoes, I got the sensor. This makes me really want the new nano. I have the first gen nano, which I love, but the screen on the new one is so nice. And the black wheel on the silver one... sharp.

Nike... I think they're called Free 7.0... trainers. For when I don't want to be using the sensor in the gym and stuff. They weren't a need like the running shoes, but they look so purdy. They're very light and nice... they are digging into the outside of my ankle bone though a bit. We'll see.

Smarty Admiral Jacket for snowboarding. Also got this on sale at Zappos. I've never bought an expensive jacket before. A friend would get North Face jackets in China, where they're made, for $30 because he is there all the time for work. I found that they fall apart like sh*t though. This jacket seems really nice. And I'm digging the design. Fits me quite well, I'm happy to add, which is difficult since, again, I'm tall.

You could always try the Nike+ Sport Band.

Dell factory outlet cancelled order stock, so as new condition & with warranty 'till 2011. £159.99 because of the one dead pixel (which will be black because it's S-IPS, so not as noticeable as the red/green/blue ones you get on TNs).

Not all of my purchases, more to come... Just loved NYC to death! Can't wait to move there... just no more standing 12 blocks from Times Square in 19 degree weather with a windchill in the way lower single digits...Although we could at least see the ball.

Woah, why don't Nike make rugby boots like that :( I want some like those, they look comfy, not sure about the single stud at the front though... Why's that stud pattern good for football?

Prob good for american football because they are on their toes a lot on the line of scrimmage. And also, since plays only last a few seconds they are sprinting the entire time.

Last purchase was technically 2 overnighted Ph.D. applications. Overnight postage is not cheap.

But before that:

Isn't NYC great? I'd love to live there for a time, but not for life. I'm more used to... farms. I could do more upstate for life. I was going to go up to NYC for New Year's... But I saw what the weather was going to be and decided to hang home. I'm only 4 hrs away and was going to stay with a friend who lives there, so it's not like I had any type of reservations. And I'm going to be there in Feb on my way home from Boston, so I can't say I was envious of you out there in that weather! Hopefully next New Year's, though. Glad you loved the city!

Posted this in the 'Setups' thread, but the MBP and 24" ACD also qualify as recent purchases:

Had a problem with the first MBP they gave me- I couldn't get it to boot reliably and when I did, it would just freeze and give me a Kernel Panic. Took it back and they swapped it out for a new one, no questions asked. I picked up the Display on my second trip there:D

I plan to move there in a couple years with an internship after completing The Art Institute... I live in southwest VA so I am more used to farms than the city, but I live the hustle and bustle of the city life haha.

I think he's pretty openly gay if that helps ya? ;)

Yes I am heh heh

What does any of that matter?

That's kinda true, is it the Louis or the thin ring that gives you that impression? That was the only ring I could afford :p and the bag will carry clothes to a from places and also hold my books, laptop, and camera gear for school
