my dad just bought a brand new g35x fully loaded with a sticker of $43,000 and was able to walk out the door for $29,xxx cash (which included a ~$6000 4runner trade in), and free all season floor mats and 1year of free oil changes/tire rotations.

yeah, they offered 0% or .9% (i forget) but my dad didn't want to make payments

Wow, if I was paying cash but was offered 0%, I'd take them up on that offer. Just throw the money into a high interest online savings account and make monthly payments from that, and come out ahead.

meh whatever, his choice. and i got to drive it home tonight :)

It has a built in 9gb harddrive that automatically saves your cd/ipod to it. or you can manually put them on the drive. which is pretty cool

lol i guess people are getting good deals before 2009 models come in..

That and the fact that there are good deals due to the economy. I was half tempted to buy before I left CA. Equally tempted to buy once I hit my new place. I'm looking at three cars that are over $30k each. Would like not to have a $600-$800 payment though and can't toss the cash down just yet.

This bottle of port wine. I don't know a lot about wine but I'm trying to learn. It's been pretty fun learning!
