Congrats! Isn't it a truly amazing feeling to be finished?!
Thank you! And yes, I am so glad to be done with it! I am finishing up my last neuroscience class and then it's graduation time.

Of course now that the thesis is off my plate, I need to start looking into Ph.D. programs!

Ketchup chips have been around for as long as I remember. I can find them in any grocery store.

Not in the US, I'm guessing. I ate them when I was in Canada over the summer (Ketchup chips are awesome), but they're nowhere to be found in the states.

Burger King for a brief period sold some sort of whopper w/ ketchup type chips at 7 eleven. When I was in H.S they had Coney Hot Dog flavored chips it tasted like ketchup and mustard. I have been looking to get my hands on them for the longest so if any one knows where I can get coney hot dog chips do tell. :D

I always see Ketchup chips, just not Lays brand... Maybe its a southern thing in the US?

Weird. Although, I guess the South is like a different country. lol. I lived in North Florida for a couple years & never saw any ketchup chips. I'm in Virginia right now and don't see any. What part of the South are you in?

edit: Nevermind. Blacksburg. You aren't too far from me~I'm in Richmond. I guess I'm too far out of the woods? lol.

Just picked up a VR version of my kit lens - It is the only upgrade that I can really afford right now. 18-55mm VR.

You really have FAR too much money to blow.

And I don't know if I'm supposed to be impressed by the Ic! Berlin glasses, although I don't know anything about glasses brands. Are they a pretty cool brand?

Noooo! I've just been spending a lot lately, that's all :p

IC! Berlin is not really famous glasses manufacturer however I purchased a pair from them because they have a unique no screw hinge system and a distinctive all stainless steel design. The lens I've got are high index (ultra-thin) with 100% UV protection. Here's their description

A shinny gunmetal frame made from 0.5mm stainless steel sheet-metal, with a unique tension-based hinge design that functions without screws and the nose pads and temple tips are covered in latex surgical tubing.

The lenses can be made in prescription or non-prescription.

This frame is a medium fit with skull fitting temples. The material is pliable and extremely lightweight for maximum wearing comfort. IC! Berlin frames are virtually indestructible.

IC! Berlin Eyewear is designed and hand-made in Berlin Germany.

more info at http://www.ic-berlin.de/

No kidding! I got my paycheck today, and after I pay my bills I'll be at about –$70. I still have to buy food, replace an alternator, and buy gas. That, or go hungry and ride my mtn bike in the middle of a snow storm.

Awwww... hope you get a big bonus next month! I'd love to ride a mtm bike in the middle of a snow storm (provided I don't run out of fuel and have a nice loghome with food and heating:p)

LED candles? wow. How romantic.

They are very romantic indeed! I fooled a lot of guests that they are real candles. They glow just like the real thing and gives a realistic flickering. They're perfect for use when you have kids around or when adults that behave like kids come around at party times. The battery lasts 12 hours and are rechargeable! I've just ordered 2 more of these from Amazon to give one away as a Christmas present and keep one to expand my collection at home. : )

Well he'd totally own you with his £39 candles and good wine.

£39 candles are worth it because they contain fragrances that are to die for!!!! If your budget is tight then there are always cheaper alternatives that could make you equally happy. Lit an ikea candle and drink a few glasses of £6wine from your local supermarket and I guarantee you'll be equally happy.

xx

Haha. Yeah the first time I heard of them I thought they'd be gross, but they go awesome with sandwiches. Same with Dill Pickle chips! My wife's Canadian, that's how I had heard of them.
