My last purchase ....
Klipsch B2 Bookshelf speakers
Denon AVR-589 Surround Receiver
Klipsch 10" Sub to follow ... right around the same day my direct deposit hits.
WHAT!
The seller sold it as broken and with no RAM installed.
I mounted two 512 MB 400MHz sticks and fired it up, and to my surprise - it worked! I couldn't be happier.
Conclusion: all computers are broken without RAM...

Signed for 1100sqft new apartment and home studio with a balcony +pool +tennis court just outside Philadelphia the other day, relocating still. Not the prettiest buildings on the outside, but inside's what counts and I'm a sucker for a pool and a damn fine location. But I'm leaving New York, sigh. Picking up a new Macbook Pro this afternoon, freebie. Thanks, Applecare.
full disclosure: the Genius Bar royally f&#ked my MBP up. It was the store manager's call to replace it after about six weeks of my Mac being in their hands over three months, and one email to Mr. Jobs' desk.
2 hand Power Mac G5 for $100
Dang, I wish I could have gotten that deal...
My last purchase: "Horizons" by Parkway Drive. Enjoying it a lot.
