Not technically a purchase as I won it in a sweepstakes/contest thing. I never win anything so it was rather exciting. I did have to by another HD for the laptop though, nothing fancy just a 250G WD, sadly a 5.4K drive, but after installation it should be fine. Trouble was with OS X, Logic, and the full Komplete software library the total space needed was 115G, sadly for a drive with 111G avalible after format this was an issue. It took 26 hours from back up, to replacing the drive, installing the OS, Installing Logic, installing all updates, then installing Komplete 5, then all the updates for that. 12 DVDs full, 2.12GB written into "temp" (usually this is only a few MB). The updates along for Komplete 5 were 3Gb worth. This is no small program, and I have a lot to go through. Lucky for me I have no job to disract me from playing with it.:)

Got to look at the bright side of everything.

YAY! for not having to pay for legitimate software licencing! :p

I should add that when mother said "what goes around comes around" that she was correct. Back in October I got ripped off on a bogus computer sale and was out $1292. Separately Komplete 5 and Kore 2 would equal $1400. Of course it would have been nice to have all this software on that new computer that really never existed. :(

nice purchase... how do you like?

Very nice, I had some of their older stuff, very similar (gortex etc), but the jacket was too small when I wore my back protector. As it was in the sales I bought the jacket, then just needed the pants too !!. Luckily a mate just passed his bike test so I've sold on my old jacket and pants to him.

Haven't been out on the bike yet as though.

i will never buy one of those again unless you can transfer them to other Live accounts. just my opinion though, i bet there's a fair share of people who agree and disagree with me.

my Live runs out on the 25th of this month, so imagine that you can see into the future and i posted a picture of a 3 month Xbox Live Card. :)

walmart.com has them for 30 bucks right now.

Bought an tv at Circuit City for $124.17!

I had bought an tv from Apple Store just over a week ago, so I bought this one at Circuity City and immediately returned it to Apple Store so that I wouldn't have to pack mine up and pay the 10% restocking fee.

So, I saved $111.12!

WOW!
Are the deals at Circuit City THAT good?
I went yesterday and didn't see anything that great. Most of the products were 10% off while some movies and DVDs were 20% off. No "must-have" bargains - you can still get better prices online for most stuff.

Hopefully their Blu-rays hit rock bottom prices. I received a player for Christmas and want to increase my collection :).

I may stop by my local CC and see if there is anything worth purchasing.

I just googled Circuit City (we dont have it in the UK), and it turns out they are going out of business as of 16th Jan... so definitely stand by for those sales!

But im sure you all already knew this

They officially close in the end of March. Yes, everything is 10% off, and movies & music are 20% off. So, it's not that great yet.

I don't know why they have the tv priced at $137 (plus 10% off). I'm not going to question it though!

I also got this Dirt Devil Kruz at Target while I was out. It was on clearance from $79 to $39.

How strong is the suction?
I have a Dirt Devil Kurv and had the Kone before that. I am thinking of getting an upright for my dorm room to replace the Kurv.
