I bought a new house today! Finally sold my townhouse - and cross your fingers the stimulus plan passes - new home purchases could get a $15K tax credit. Icing on the cake! This is a pic of the spec home, ours is a dirt lot right now :) Also not sure if we will do the 3 car or not - sorta consumes a good chunk of the front... But roughly this house

nice place, the 3 car garage is baller. Time to buy some cars to fill it up

My photography Rep has been after me for the last 9 months to get more portfolios made so I finally took the plunge and just ordered 2 Carbon Fiber Looking Glass Portfolios, 2 Limited Edition Looking Glass Portfolios, and self shipper bags from Lost Luggage. I also ordered 4 - 80 Gig Jobo GIGA Vu PRO evolution photo viewers to pack one in with each portfolio. I am going hi Tech with the new folio's.

A well spent heap of cash! That house is extremely nice, I'm sure when you build it it will look better. Congratulations.

Thanks - I attached a floor plan - ours is the same except we don't have bedroom number 4, and the kitchen wall is a little different (as in not there - we are going to do the kitchen in the pics, more open) Colors will prob be different. But thanks for all the compliments guys - we are excited, the house should be done right before our wedding.

Also, i'm not sure how to multi-quote lol but to whoever said we should fill the garage with cars, haha, we bought two honda accords last summer - is that baller? ...no? :)

Oh and ignore the guy in the pics, thats me :D

Got it for $349 at Circuit City. Is it hard to manually focus the 1.8 50mm lens on this thing? Maybe for a noob like me it will be. :)

I don't actually have the 50mm lens yet, but i'll probably buy one a month from now.

What is their discount on DSLRs now?

It is hard to focus it. I hear Nikon is coming out with an AF-S version shortly...

I think it was like 30%
Mine didnt have any except for some sonys and a display canon
Just about the whole store was 30%. You can still find better deals on amazon especially on media.
That's what I thought. I'm in the market to get a DSLR in the next 6 months, so unless they offer discounts of 40 to 50% off DSLRs, I'll just hold off and get one online.

Just to note, allot of the Circuit City's in major towns are pretty much wiped out of anything good. They still have allot of stuff. Just about 70% of the good stuff is gone... Most of the DSLR's they had left was the display models and when I took the lens off. There are finger prints all over the sensor. Plus on top of that, they will not lower the price just because it's a display model.
