Landshark is great.. Taste like a really good corona cause sometimes they can be hit or miss

Yea, iWork and iLife go for $39 and new OS $79. That's why I'm hoping SL is released before June but it doesn't look like it'll happen.

We also get Logic & Final Cut Express for $69 and Aperture for $69:cool:

it depends on the school. my old college didn't have a campus store and if i wanted to buy ilife 09/iwork it would be like 70 dollars and for my brother its 39....

Flight of the Conchords tickets for May 23. For when I'll be in Vegas with some friends. I can't wait, I love these guys.

because apple hooks college kids up.
As a computer science student, I have to say that Microsoft 'hooks up' students a lot better. Services like the MSDN-AA & Dreamspark giving me instant access to hundreds-of-thousands-of-dollars worth of software, events like the Imagine Cup giving me masses of experience & industry connections (not to mention the freebies!), etc.. Apple may give students fair discounts in store, but as far as any other student-oriented practices go, they're bust.

well I'm getting $450 this weekend for working event staff at a volleyball tournament, so I was looking into some monitors. I found this one ( http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824254026 ) and was wondering what people thought of it. I'm not a graphic designer or anything so the fact that the colors won't be 100% true doesn't bother me too much. So what do u think, good deal or not?

hanns-g monitors are real nice. i had a 19" and had no problems with it

For MBP, first time buying these...i guess i really want to keep this system.
