The E1400 at 2.0 GHz is a very cool customer for under $50.

not bad, i've been considering upgrading my 250gig on my mbp but im still on the fence about the benefits of the speed increase from the faster drive.

Only noticeable difference for me was copying large files. And I suggest you go to 500gb. You'll need it eventually, and if you decide to sell it will only help the value.

I was considering the 500, but i did not want to jump the gun on the new seagate quite yet, i might still get it in the next few months or so if i end up using all this space.

The speed is nice on boot-up, i havent upgraded the ram yet and i am down to about 36 seconds. Was at about 51-52

I guess that happens when they're so friggin' small, right? ;)

Well it's designed so you don't remove it when you insert it. Of course Logitech didn't think Apple would only give their MacBook/15" MacBook Pro computers only 2 USB ports.

Ohh we all know you just needed them to migrate your pRon collection to your Mac :p

24GB only?

My pr0n library is stored on a RAID-5 array with 3 1.5TB drives and they're full!

i would mainly upgrade for speed purposes. Im considering getting a firewire drive which i think is faster for accessing stuff since it's off the system's drive.

For my old 200GB HDD. This is a Storejet TS0GSJ25P from Transcend. I bought it for 17$. It is very slim and light.
PS: I threw away the Y USB cable and using a short one from one of my WD My Passport. Perfect !

I've had it for a while now (over a year, I think) and I'm surprised I've kept up with it this long. I have a spare mouse (old school, wired Logitech) but I hate it now. I want my VX nano back. I'm glad Logitech offers replacement receivers.

I can see how you could easily lose that. Sure it didn't get lost in your USB port? :D

LOL. One time I thought I lost it and it was hiding in my Apple keyboard's USB port. Unfortunately, not this time.

I wish I could have one more port, I'd be set.

It was a rough day for the wallet. Received emails from both Patagonia and Cloudveil regarding Winter clothing closeouts. I already have enough jackets to last me into the next millennium and I just received my 66 North Order just last week which had 2 new jackets in it but sure enough I order a whole bunch more. I am beginning to think I have some sort of shopping addiction for outdoors clothing and equipment. Anyways here is the latest damage to my wallet.

Systema and Prometheus airsoft parts. Ran me a cool $400 (ouch). You'd think I was building a robot or something.
