Bought a ticket to fly home to the Philippines with Singapore Airlines later this month and just realized I'll be flying on the A380 another 2 times on top of the 6 times I have allready flown on her!!! Here's a pic of the beast I took last year when I first flew on the mothership - notice all the snow on her. That delayed my flight by two hours because Heathrow didn't have the correct de-icing facilities for the A380 at the time and had to make do with what they had.

Well Nikko was made fun of back in the day but so far I'm finding it very well built and sounding nice. Not as good as my main components but definitely respectable.

Why, what's wrong with the brand? Some 80s equipment sounds better than the cheap stuff today.

Just ordered this on Sunday, the last tax-free day for North Carolina. I'll get actual photos next week when it arrives.

USB HDD Enclosure to house my stock drive which will become a backup drive

I bought the same enclosure last year when I swapped out the 160GB HDD in my MacBook for a new WD 320GB one

As enclosures go, it is quite nice with its soft rubbery finish and lots of accessories (pouch and screwdriver). I have since bought another 320GB HDD to put into it for SuperDuper back up purposes. The 160GB is sitting on a shelf not doing much.

Not my photo, but just grabbed a Signature Burger from Hero Burgers. Oh God. So good. Six ounces of medium-well, fresh Albertan angus beef. The only decent fast food place I've found in Canada so far.

My burger was:

Six ounces
Whole wheat bun
Portabello mushrooms
Smoked provalone
Mixed greens
Tomato
Red Onion
Maple Chipotle BBQ Sauce
Relish
Mayonnaise

Got this cheapo LED lamp because $25 fit the budget... Not a bad looking lamp, it somewhat integrates with the rest of the decor of my desk.

I really aspire to get a KONCEPT Z-Bar lamp though... Maybe $165 will be easier to part with when I am not saving for a car and a Mac Pro at the same time.
