They're $40 shipped on eBay.... Case included

Oh wow. I might have to check that one out. Thanks for the info!

ETA: I'll be keeping my order with RichardSolo. The ones selling for less on eBay don't include the cable connection. They are the ones that latch directly to the device. I'm not interested in that one.

Richardsolo is way overpriced for the capacity you get.

Maybe so. I only looked at the Mophie Juice Pack Air and the Richard Solo. The two are priced similarly and with the discounted price I received on the Richard Solo, I'm not going to hang my head too much on my purchase. I'm ok with paying $49.95 for the 1800 and all its included accessories.

New Timbuk2 Custom Messenger Bag (medium). I gotta say, it cost a bit, but I'm majorly impressed with how spacious it is and how well it fits me. Only time will tell as to whether or not it holds up and maintains its value.

I haven't posted in this thread in a while..... I've made quite a few purchases since the last time i posted....

Highlights: Magic Mouse, an Apple Keyboard with Numeric Keypad, a whole crapload of baby stuff, and today's purchase is a Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS3 as well as an 8GB Class 6 SDHC Card for it. I'm stoked for the camera to get here (I bought it from Amazon), as it has had really good reviews since it came out and it will be the nicest P&S I've ever owned.

I bought a black one from Amazon....GREAT camera...I love it....I also purchased a 16GB SDHC card (class 6), for the HD video!

Do you find that you really need the 16 GB or do you think that 8 GB would be sufficient?

I have an 8Gb SDHC class 6 card too! I bought the 16GB just in case ( I plan on shooting a lot of HD video)...
so to answer your question, I think an 8GB card is sufficient.

Cool, thanks.

I'm planning on shooting HD video, but not "a lot".

What case did you buy? Do you like it?

Installed my x25 just now.
Whole process took all of 10 mins. Didn't have a torq driver
so I had to use some pliers so that took a sec (i was gentle).
Boots in under 25 seconds, and shuts down like in 3 or 4.
I am never going back to a platter drive for a boot disk
if I can help it.

For those that haven't made the leap to SSD yet... do it. Best
230$ i have spent in a LONG time. That and the 4 gigs of ddr3
I popped in 2 weeks ago have breathed new life into this
2008 aluminum unibody macbook.

Saving the 160gb HDD so I can take the SSD with me to my next
Mac. : )
Good stuff SSD is.

*edit*
Updated the firmware just now, and it made everything like 25% faster.
Jeez.

A member here was kind enough to solve my problem of a missing USB receiver on my MX Revolution by selling his MX Revolution to me (with receiver) for $7.00.

And I bought a new keyboard for work. I wanted a perfect stroke keyboard but for the price and since this is for work, not sure I wanted to pay the price. If this sucks then it goes back and I buy a chicklet style keyboard from the UK.

You;ll love it and how well it olds up. I have had my Timbuk2 medium bag for about 7 years and it's great. I throw it in the wash and let air dry.

I use one for gym/sports bag and I use a laptop bag also. Spacious and holds enough.

My new Logitech Performance Mouse MX. Awesome bit of kit. I'm selling my Magic Mouse on eBay as its cack. :p

I hate you. Why? Because I just bought a late 2008 unibody mbp... Stop making me want to spend money!
Though I'm sure visiting this thread doesn't help either. :D

However, I do feel like I'd use the read/write times up in a jiffy. I'm constantly adding/removing 4.6gb and 9.4gb files...

Honest to god it's worth it. 80 gigs should be perfect for a boot drive with
key apps. I don't see myself going over 50 gigs on it in a pinch. The read
and write is fantastic. The read and write times are awesome especially after
the firmware update. I also noted about 20-25mins extra battery life. : )
Here's a screen of xbench results. (Had a few programs open too)..

If you havn't bought an ssd yet, do so. : )

*edit*
that score was against a white 2009 macbook with a 5400 hitachi.

I wish I could get an ssd, but I would never be able to fit all of my stuff on it between mac and bootcamp.
