Just picked up a Nikon 70-200mm f/2.8 VR II

This satisfies a much needed super telephoto zoom lens; the longest I had was a 70mm for a while and that didn't fare too well. I was unable to take proper shots of unsuspecting people.

My next accessory will be a TC-17 (1.7x) teleconverter. The 200-400mm is quite nice, but a bit over my budget not to mention will not get as much use.

LOVE mine! Why the TC-17 over the TC-20 III? I personally haven't used it but it sounds to be pretty good. Just curious.

If you don't mind me asking, how do they start at down there? Website? I was down there for Strasburg's first start last week and was walking around and really liked the look of those.

I live about 35 minutes away in Ashburn, VA, but am looking very seriously into moving into Clarendon/Ballston/D.C.

Yeah they came down fast I think. The Core i5's were just released a few months ago, and I was already able to get this under 2k. SO excited! Should come by the end of the week..it is a little pre-emptive present for what I hope will be good news!

Up and coming but empty part of town. Nice to get what you can while the market is cheap. I live up in NW DC, but Waterfront/South Capitol/Stadium/Armory area has some nice development apartments and condos. Things just aren't selling down there. Nice find though.

DC is where it's at these days. I have so many friends wanting to move out here because they are done with San Francisco haha.

Awesome car, was just in the showroom earlier today as my GF is looking into purchasing one. We've looked at the Lexus IS250 AWD and the Infiniti G37x, but I think the A4 is giving us the better impression.

Was the modem provided by your isp in the first place? I always can replace my modern for any reason at my ISP, i'm sure most ISP will do the same.

I like to own my own modem versus paying a fee every month

I can't wait to see the place, I got my job offer the first weekend I got to Italy for my study abroad, so I have been relying on my parents to find me a place to live. 2.5 more weeks to go.
