Ordered the Apogee ONE for my recording and writing purposes with my MBP. Ordered it Sunday it got here on Tuesday. So far it's the best investment I've made in my recording endeavors and SO much better than my previous TC Electronics interface.

I also bought a ton of recrods - Lifetime, Dead to Me, Joe Strummer and the Mescaleroes, Tom Gabel, Against Me!, the Gaslight Anthem, etc. I love vinyl.
 
Pre-ordered Gran Turismo 5 today at EB Games. They don't have the Collector's Edition yet, but they'll switch me over to the Collector's Edition when it becomes available. November can't come soon enough! :D

Just got back from buying the new Mini.

I seriously hate Apple stores. Never a very pleasant buying experience.

I came out, Mini in hand, though. Gonna move my old Mini (it's actually only about 6 months old) to my entertainment center in the living room. I just couldn't resist the new design. It's gonna fit under my HP monitor so nicely along with my MBP 13" that I bought about a week ago. I was almost tempted to splurge on a 24" ACD, but couldn't really justify it with 2x23" monitors already sitting here on my desk.

GF got me a 07 MBP for $300.00

And I got a Canon Pixma MP560 for $75.00 and the metal rack for $20
all brand new.

2 cans of spray paint to paint my hutch too, but that was a mess. Made the hutch look like S***!!!

Really? After I wet sand it should I used spray paint again? Or use another type House paint, Car paint?

What about primer?

I was thinking about taking it to my friends shop to get it sand blasted and air brushed but that just seams like about of work.

Well you should have used primer beforehand............
But wetsanding will get rid of the roughness and make it smooth and polished. Start with about 4=600 grit sand paper and work your way up to around 3000. Make sure you don't go through the paint.
When you are done you should have a REALLY SMOOTH surface that is glossy like car paint :)
You can even wax/polish when your done :cool:

Totally agree.... I used to love to shop at the applestore, but the last few times have been pretty unpleasant. Especially when I returned my Macbook Pro for the newer model when it was updated a week later.

We got there and basically walked around doe-eyed for about 10 minutes, before we could find anyone who was free and didn't have at least 5 people swarming around them wherever they go.

Finally after we got to talk to the guy, he directed us to another guy who was going to find someone to help us.

Then he didn't even put my name in the queue. So we walked around trying to find someone for about 10 more minutes. Then the guy just was like ok i'll get it started and they'll bring it out for me and you can pay.

So then the man came out with the box.. and walked around looking for whoever it belonged to. I told him I am pretty sure it's mine.. and he kinda brushed me off.

Honestly, if they sold Minis at Best Buy, I would have bought it from there.

When I bought my MBP about a week ago, they didn't have them in stock at the Best Buy near me, or I would have bought it from there too.

Thank you for you help, I am going work on that next week, hopefully it will come out cleaner...
 
I didn't really buy snow leopard but got it for free when i went to the genius bar with a slight software issue (tiger 10.4) which was my fault by the way,the tech was just nice and gave me the upgrade for free ($30 value)

Hate the apple store. NO ONE HELPS YOU there. Everytime I go it takes me 10-15 min to get help, and then I get shuttled around from staffer to staffer in search of someone to help me. Worse is when you want to buy a low price item. You might as well be invisible and one of those people who come in for fun to them. I make all efforts to stick it to the man, and purchase my apple items either online, or from different more trusted sellers (amazon).
