Boing!

I've spent like the last 4 hours playing with this thing. Installing lots of apps, playing Plants vs. Zombies, drawing in Sketchbook Pro. Admittedly I could do any and all of these things on my computer, much more quickly. But it's not quite as fun.

Not in love with the Apple case though. The little edges on it kind of bug me, as does the texture which attracts dust and isn't pleasant to hold, despite being grippy. I picked up a cheap netbook sleeve to store it in, but I think a new case is soon. And the dock as well, so I can turn it into a sidetable alarm clock.

Happy camper right now! And I'll be doubly happy once I get my iPhone 4. :)

I bought a Golf today, 1999.5 MK4 2.0L 2door Base Model. And I mean it when I say base model, I never saw a MK4 without power windows & mirros before yesterday. A bit of a fixer upper, but we have all the parts on my friend's spare Jetta.

Winter Car...

Nice sycho. Looks great with the jetta! And what year is that Jetta?
The Jetta is a 2001 with a 12v VR6 and a nice Techtonics exhaust with a Borla muffler. I have the cams and intake waiting for then the Golf is on the road. ;)

Decided it was time to open the MBP up and redo the thermal paste and dust it out. (My god! There was enough on there for five MBP's! Decreased temps by ~8°C)

About to do this myself. My dad brought up some thermal squares from work (he is an Asus Laptop Repair engineer)...and I am not sure if it will do well on my MBP as some Artic Silver would. However, if it is good enough for Asus, why not for Apple?

Also picked up the Panasonic 14-45mm kit lens. Going to compare it to the Oly 14-42mm I have and sell the one I like less.

Nice. I do agree about the case at times, but it has the functionality and is the slimmest folio type case I have found.
What kind of case are you looking for?
Also, the dock is great, but it sucks that you can't use a case at the same time (well, not a folio type case at least; I think the belkin vue grip works- correct me if I'm wrong). Therefore sometimes when I use it as a sidetable alarm clock it gets annoying to take it out of the case each time.

Anyways, glad you are enjoying your iPad!

Bought the GF a dress and sweater from NY&C. Don't remember what the dress or sweater looks like so here's a pic of a NY&C store instead (not my pic).
