It is highly suggested that the M10 sub (which isn't a true sub, if my memory serves me correctly) that it be placed at head-level. Many reviews say this too, and the owners of M10's that I've seen 'round the forums all have them on their desks as well.

It's strange - definitely against what audiology teaches us - but supposedly it works. It would take some getting used to, I think.

You sir are spot on. The "sub" is supposed to be ear level.

Yes thats true, i was reading alot of reveiws on the M10 before i bought it, and they all suggested that it should be placed at the same level as the speakers, the same told the guy that import Swans to Norway me, he said that i could also have it on the floor, but it was best when it was at the same level as the other speakers. AND yes! i need some time to get used to it!:) so far(2 days) i really like how the speakers are sounding, its really great to play my apple lossless music:) they cost me 250 dollars.

Just arrived :D Already took like 60 shots within 10 minutes! AF is so fast, and burst is awesome! Certainly fills my DSLR void since consolidating gear!

Now got to wait for my 14-45mm..I might be postponing a SF day trip just to wait for it to come in.

That's a very pretty camera. Make sure you share your photos you take with it. I love my Canon DSLR but always find myself trying to justify a micro 4/3 camera too. Will be interested to hear your experiences with it.

A mixed pack of Fender California Clear guitar picks in medium and thin (the only guitar picks I use)
590205.jpg

What lovely guitar picks - very cool :)

I only use medium and thin (.73mm or less) with my guitars too, anything else and the sound is too loud/harsh or I'm pinging the pick off the strings and through the sound hole or worse (if I'm playing my electric) somewhere never to be found again.

Might have to see if I can find some of these, I like the colours and the little palm tree (perfect to get me in the mood to play a bit of Colbie or Jack Johnson). At the moment, I am doing a lot of finger picking but never know when I might want to strum some chords where picks would come in handy.

Two packs of IKEA "GLIMMA" tealights... $4 each, can't go wrong.

be careful where you put these. the metal that the candle sits in gets super hot. i saw a picture on you tube of a kid who lit one and placed it on top of his tv. he fell asleep and the metal case the candle sits in got so hot it melted a hole right through the top of tv and fell inside. starting a fire.

One would hope that a tealight is put inside a glass/ceramic tealight holder - no way should they be lit and placed anywhere just in their metal foil case

Wine tasting tour. I was hoping the tour would help me appreciate wine but wine and my taste buds just can't seem to get along.

120gb ssd for my mbp .. hope i notice a difference coming from a 5400rpm drive
If you don't then I'll take the 5400 rpm drive. I can't see how one would not see the difference between a 5400 rpm drive and an SSD.

Mind sharing where you got your shoes from? I really need a pair of casual dress shoes to wear going out.

P.S.- I'm talking about the brown leather ones on the right.

They're super comfy. I'm considering buying another pair just because they're so affordable. Be warned though, the sole is made of a soft but brittle resin that is painted, so it'll start getting messed up easily, as soon as you start walking around. The plus side is that they're not heavy like many other shoes. But yeah. A few days of use and my soles are already scratched and chipped on the heel. Expect to get them resoled if you don't want to buy a new pair.
