Alupad, frickin badass.

I have been swaying back and forth between buying this and not buying it.

I have a dark wood desk and kind of prefer a darker pad. Right now I just have a plain black one.

I think I may have finally been swayed though.

Inspired by the above mouse-pad posts, and the fact that my lenticular Batman mouse-pad from 1998 doesn't work very well with my Magic Mouse, I went into FutureShop and came across this, which I was told is pretty good. Plus I guy I know gave me his staff discount so I didn't pay full price. I also bought Wall Street on Blu-Ray.

*Question: I understand that this is a 'professional' gaming mouse-pad, but it came with a super cool carrying case that is better quality than a lot of laptop sleeves I've encountered, lol. Do professional gamers have a need for it??

^^^You use a mouse pad? ;) I rarely used them even with ball mice, now with optical mice and my laptop I only use a mouse pad when working on a glass surface.

My current desk is an old desk my grandfather made years ago that I may or may not refinish, but the surface is made up of little rectangles of wood and isn't smooth enough to use a mouse on comfortably. Plus, I like the aesthetic of having a mouse pad.

The case it comes with isn't made to carry anything other than the pad itself. And no that's not true.

Don't get me wrong, man, I think it's a super cool idea and a nice touch. Maybe I'm feeling a bit fraudulent due to the fact that I am nowhere near enough a serious gamer to warrant having a carrying case for my mouse pad. If I can figure out how to get the custom-cut foam insert out without ruining the thing, I was hoping to use it as a small portfolio to carry some of my smaller artwork and photographs.... Unfortunately it seems like the foam is glued in there pretty good...

Lot's of purchases, but most noteably a couple cases for my M4/3 set up. Can't decide which to keep....help? I like both but the first one is $23 (actual camera case), the second one is $7 (cosmetics holder). Note: I am a girl :D

If I were a girl, I'd go with the cosmetics case. It fits the camera, it's less bulky, and may fit into a bigger purse easier. ;)

haha that is the only thing...the case logic one doesn't really fit the camera and the lens side by side. The camera has to sit on a diagonal a little. I wanted to get something as small as possible and kind of a shape where I can put it in a shoulderbag/bottom of a backpack. Hmm...

Picked up all of these in the last week !
