To continue my recent spending, I give you this.

Figured it was time to go beyond the simple basics of things with the Visual QuickStart books. The other two just looked pretty darn interesting to a graphic design major and had great reviews. Total came to $35 with Prime shipping.

Have to use my free year somehow...

Decent guitar, especially for the price.

I picked one of these up a few years ago. It was mahogany with an ebony fretboard and a cutout. Beautiful guitar and it sounded pretty good for $99.

I ended up giving it to a friend of mine who was learning to play, after I bought a Taylor. Since I didn't use it anymore.

@miki66: Have a look at Art.Lebedev's Optimus Tactus, it's a full-size touchscreen keyboard. Is expected to be very expensive though!

the switcheasy neotouch case.

my brother got a new computer for college and it came with a free ipod touch 2G so i got the ipod; my first ever. i really am liking the neotouch case. i'm a little annoyed at the screen protector, not because it's a crappy one - the PureAnti-Reflect one from switcheasy is working out fine - i just need to reapply it.

Got a good deal on a Dell U2410, using it alongside with my 24" ACD. Love the swivel feature so I can use it vertically when I'm coding.

And about $400 worth of text books. I'm only a freshman but can already tell that book prices are a scam. Ahh!

Got me textbooks from Chegg.com

Its a great rental place. Works like Netflix. Just rent what you need and at the end of the rental period print off a free shipping label and mail them back.

I have three books from them this semester and it has already saved me over $125.

Plus with this coupon code CC115065 i saved 5%

Text books waste to much of my money. I work way to hard for my money.

I love working at my bookstore (my department makes custom course packets and prints soft-back books on our Espresso Book Machine)... we get 30% off the original price and then get a textbook scholarship which takes off another 50% or so.

The University of Missouri is good about books though. We have huge buybacks at the end of semesters and you can choose new, used, electronic, or our new option, rental.
