Blech, why do people even bother with Taco Bell? Fast food is bad enough, but I swear, Taco Bell is literally the bottom rung of the ladder. It's worse than any other fast food I could ever think of.

Anyways, I just ordered a bunch of cheapo iPhone cases from eBay:

Two of the perforated ones and 3 of the back-casing-imitation type things. In total cost me about $10. Can't go wrong with that.

Is that a Raccoon Mario figurine I see?

Sweeeeeet.

Why yes, yes it is :D I made it myself using Pixel Blocks. Its really easy too. I just find the sprite of the character I want to make, blow it up until I can easily see the individual squares, and then I color match :D

They are bigger then they look too. Mario is almost a foot tall.

I like your taste in phones. I just got a Torch myself. For a long time BlackBerry user like me, the Torch does fill in a lot of the gaps the platform has been suffering with for the past couple of years. Will probably keep my onboard for a while.

Never had it, since I don't live in the US, but I can imagine how bad it is. I hate fast food.

My last purchase was a damn speeding ticket I got yesterday =(

I'm so lucky though - I only passed my driving test on the 17th July 2008 and in the UK if you get a speeding ticket in the first 2 years of driving, you automatically lose your license. I got mine on the 18th July 2010 - the day after the 2 years. I have a £60 fine and I have to go to a 6 hour driving school...bad times. But I love how I'm looking directly at the camera in my photo haha :D

I think you're allowed 6 points in the first 2 years, so technically you can speed twice.

The Road Traffic (New Drivers) Act 1995 applies to every motorist who passed their first full test after 1 June 1997.

The main effect of the Act is to impose a probationary period for the first 2 years after the test is passed. During this time, a new driver will be subject to immediate revocation of their licence, should they reach 6 or more penalty points.

My Dad said that but in the letter and booklet I got yesterday through the post from the police, it said if your under 25 (which I am, I'm 22) and it's your first 2 years, it's an automatic loss of licence and you have to apply for your provisional again and take your test

Maybe I read it wrong - I'm sure it said the first time!

Thanks for that :) I'm still pleased I'm going to driving school instead of any points though haha!

Maybe that's assuming you get 6 points for one crime? Normally they give out three, but in some cases, if you were driving dangerously or grossly over the speed limit they can give you more (say 6) which would disqualify you.

Were you only doing 37 in a 30?

Yeah I was doing 37 in a 30 zone. Although it's no excuse, I actually thought it was a 40 zone  I need to be more careful I think.

Yeah! I have 6 points - three for going through a red light (I actually hesitated going through the light and slowed down slightly but realised I wouldn't be able to stop in time so continued to go through. This happened at a crossroads where a police car was sitting perpendicular to me.

The other three points were given when I was driving on a dual-carriage way which is a 50 and I got caught with one of those laser speed camera's doing 60.

Both of these incidents happened a few months apart and less than a year ago. Frustrating despite the fact that I've have my license four and a half years.

Fortunately though, it didn't make any difference to my insurance (AVIVA). It does teach you to be more prudent and a safer driver.

Finally I have arrived.....
iPad 64GB, Folio, and other accessories

I just received my iPad 64GB from Apple Japan. The accessories have been with me for several days, as I could not use them until I receive an iPad. Now, all are united together.

Well, it's a lesson many new drivers learn. In your case I'm not shocked since you're young and driving a pretty powerful car.

Only £60 ?! Over here in California at least, its an arm and a leg. And the camera tickets are even worse than getting pulled over!
