$160 worth of iTunes gift cards for myself. They were 2 x $20 for $30, so I thought I might as well stock up on iTunes credit for apps.

iPhone 4 32GB, iHome and Swiss Brand Pack Back. Getting ready for college

I have that iHome..... it's a good product. One thing though..... it may come with a crappy remote that doesn't work with your iPod/iPhone. Go to their website and you can order the correct remote for free.

Upgraded from 40D. Been wanting to since it was introduced last year, almost did a few times, but other things always took priority. Finally pulled the trigger after finding a good deal on FredMiranda.

This:

NICE. I can't wait to be done with grad school so I can get a decent body, the T1i is good for now but I'm def jealous of you're new toy.

It just happens that I became a fan of Gelaskins on Facebook yesterday... and they reached 10,000 fans later that night. So, they had a 40% off promo for a couple of hours... so I made a few purchases!

I bought two PS3 controller skins, a skin for the actual console, and another skin for my iPod Classic. I had already bought one for my iPhone 4.

So, with the 40% off, I also used they're "buy 3 get 1 free" deal. I saved quite a lot!

no haha, 2 for $30, so a saving of $10, which is quite nice. So I got $160 of iTunes credit for $120.
Yeah, its a local chain of stores. The promo lasts another couple of weeks, so I will probably get some more before it ends.

I probably would of done the same. I wish I could find a good deal like that around here...

Just picked up two 3GS Incase Sliders in white. One for my father, and one for my girlfriend's sister. On sale for $17 each! :)

Also put down a deposit on this... my third instrument purchase in the last few months. A Breedlove J350.

I have had that case for a year and the back of my iPhone is in perfect condition. Actually just ordered a green one yesterday(CCS has some of the fluorescent colors on sale for $25, regularly $35).

I owned one for my original 2G and it was fine, besides some scuff marks on the bezel (but that's expected with a chrome bezel... you should see my old Blackberry Bold). The backs have the felt rails that protect the phone.

You probably dropped your phone, then blamed the case, because I honestly have no idea what you're talking about.

Not trying to start an argument, but is that not the point of the case? I mean, if the case itself can damage the phone when dropped, why bother with a case? In my view, the best case is one that protects the phone from drops and itself.

My beef with the slider was the bezel. If I wanted my bezel to have a million fine scratches proportionally placed along it within a week, I would do it myself so it would be at least halfway stylish.

Ditto. I immediately discarded my Slider for a different case after I saw some increase in wear to the phone.

I've had a black Incase Slider on my 3GS from the day I got it and the back of my 3GS is in pristine condition sans a little dust.

I don't know what you guys did to 'wreck the back of the iPhones'.

No, I understand. But what constitutes "best" is subjective. I'm not looking for a super protective, everything-proof case, though others may. Besides that, even an Incase Slider is better than no case at all. The ultimate cause of any fall damage is not the case, but the phone being dropped in the first place. "The case itself" does not damage the phone. The user does. Even the cheapest, flimsiest cases will make the best of a human error.

I get what you mean about the bezel, but I'm not particularly worried. I purchased an iPhone 3G for my father to use for a few months, and it already had a black Incase Slider (though the case itself had its finish rubbing off, which is why I purchased this new one), and the bezel seemed fine. Nothing I wouldn't expect from ordinary usage. I'm more concerned about the back of the phone.

I thought is was pretty self explanatory. It's a rubber eyecup.

Well that wasn't very helpful, was it. :p We can see that it's a "rubber eyecup," but obviously its still a bit obscure.

Seriously, I'm confused too. I never press my eye to the viewfinder. Is that all it does? Let you press your eye closer to the camera?

Dropped my iphone in the pool in a "rough" night (read: drunk lol), and got a repair for about $ 250, when my carrier asked me to fork over +$ 800.

Oh yeah and groceries, but who cares ?!!
