I agree, those Apple logos made that car just look ridiculously stupid looking.

A few things to setup the new monitor that is being delivered tomorrow.

Some cables ties

And some cable tie mounts

All for $20 shipped. Can't beat that.

Whoa $1 for one cable tie?!?!?!?! That must be the worst priced item on Monoprice.

I got these awesome keyboard covers off eBay. Very soft and responsive. Got one in black and one in red :) I'm a big fan of keyboard covers.

Well I didn't get the rsvp last time after redialing for 30 minutes (was put on the wait list)...but FINALLY GOT THROUGH AFTER A WEEK of trying!

30 courses of molecular gastronomy at Minibar in D.C. $125 per person. Had to call a month in advance for my sept 30 reservation, and give cc info. All I have to say is my boyfriend owes me big time! Happy birthday to him!

Yep that was me - couldn't get through on the darn lines even though I thought I was being all smart and sassy calling 2 min before the lines opened haha. But i finally got it. That sense of accomplishment is awesome.

Oh cool. I hope it's actually good and not all hype.

I've been to a few restaurants here in LA that are extremely popular/expensive, but end up being kind of meh. On the other hand, I've been to some great places that totally lived up to the hype.

Hope so too. This is more for my boyfriend. He is in the industry (cook in fine dining) and actually "staged" there for a day. He had nothing but great things to say. Just thought he would like to be on the other side of the line this time!

I am sure if this is not good - it would be the most interesting meal I will ever have. Molecular gastronomy isn't your everyday faire.

What? All the Waffle Houses I've been to haven't been bad. You can't go wrong with an all star.
I know. It sucked because I always go with my crew of college friends (since were always up 2AM doing work and one of us mentions waffle house and 6 more people want to go at the same time), so it was the quietest WH trip I've made in a while.

Kinda lonely.
