After less than a year w/ an HTC Hero that was just updated to 2.1, this thread is giving me so much iPhone envy...

16GB iPhone 4. You would not believe the line up for this, a month after launch. I waited EIGHT HOURS in line for this.

You waited that long for a broken iPhone?!?!

I think your screen is backwards. ;)

Congrats, Love. I hope your cellphone problems are now over.

8 hours? Gee, I only had to wait about 20 minutes for mine. My iPhone was the last they had in stock, and I had to wait that long for the previous guy that booked it. Bell was holding the iPhone for another customer, but I lucked out in coming in just as the hold time was set to expire.

Incidentally, paying for the damn thing took longer than usual too (probably 10-20 minutes), since they were having trouble with the debit card machine and the point of sale computer/register.

The thing was today, Bell's, Virgin's and TELUS' activation servers were s**t slow. There happened to be a lot of people having plan issues; the Apple Store was the only place getting decent stock in Calgary, so that lead to a LOT of people in a slow process. Rogers and Fido was working fine, mine took maybe 5 minutes at most. The person in front of me had to get on the phone to Rogers; they took an hour.

It was a BAD day at the apple store.

Surely, thank you. My screen began to stop working and I didn't want to sink more money into a 3G. I was in little town BC while the screen died (just at the beginning of my trip). I bought this shittacular Nokia phone that loses signal by looking at it, even if you're in the city. But now all is well. :)

they use them in shows like ghost hunters/ghost adventures when searching for paranormal activity as they believe that spikes can mean the presence of spirits etc

Oh but in my case, those spikes tell me where I need to stay away from because of radiation.

This was something that I always wanted when I was a kid but was too expensive and hard to find. Now we have ebay :)

Bought it last night and used it this morning. Expensive, but very very nice smooth shave. Even on my head.

ЧИКАГО!
Are you in kauai?

LOL!

Nope,

Wisconsin Dells.
Technically, the Baraboo Airport.

We had a really fun pilot.
First thing he asks: "Have you been in a helicopter before?" - No, but I went on an Ultralight.
2nd thing he asks: "Do you want a smooth ride or a FUN ride? :D

We got a fun ride.

Every day you get a Helicopter ride is a good day,
Keri
