I made the switch to a SSD after going through 3 HD's with the same issue.

Got a new Intel X-25v 40GB SSD:

20-167-025-TS

And a 4GB Ram Upgrade:

20-148-191-S01

The increase in speed is well worth the price!

I've never been to a Five Guys...... they don't have any locations in West LA. The closest one to me is 18 miles away........

As long as it's animal style with extra grilled onions and pickles and no tomatoes.:D

Really? Mine is about 10 miles away and I think we only have one location in Cali right?

I'm jealous, where did you purchase that and for how much? If you don't mind me asking of course.

I picked it up at Cabelas, which is something like a Bass Pro Shops Outdoors (hunting/fishing, etc). They had their yearly door buster sale with the Nagants for $99. Every now and then a retailer will get a batch and sell them for under than $150. For the dollar, you can't pass one up. Surplus ammo is available online, usually running around $100 for 440 rounds.

Curious on your cost and purchase place for this?? I kinda want to get a decent set.

We need some In&Outs here on the east coast. That's the only thing I miss about sCA. And the women and weather wouldn't hurt either :p

In and out coming soon to Dallas or so I've been told. Guess the midwest will finally see what all the fuss is about. :)

It's the SE Special Strat Pack by fender. Of course there are better out there but for beginner or someone on a budget its a nice set for $199. You can get it at musician's friend or JR music world from this amazon link.

From what I read, it comes with a practice amp, stand, bag, pics and other lame beginner accessories. The good thing about this one compared to the starcaster is that a lot of people upgrade the various parts on this guitar, and the general feeling is that the SE special is built slightly better. You would have to set it up right to get the most of the guitar, but there are tutorials on youtube for this specific model. It's not one of those walmart/target guitars but still a beginner package. The sunburst one I think is really nice...it's going to get a nice big bow on it for his birthday!

Meh, born and raised in So. Cal. and with In & Out, the only thing I miss is the animal style of their fries and burgers. As far as getting something to replace it, Five Guys has done that quite nicely. Oddly, one of the better or best burgers I've had that I did not make myself is a Kobe burger from Bone Fish Grill.

Too starchy for me. I like burger king's or mcdonalds for pure fryness.

in n out fries go well with their burger though. Don't over power it or anything.

I would never, ever, call burger king or mcdonald's fries pure. I worked at a BK for 3 years and frankly, if you knew what we did to ensure you had what you thought were fresh fries you'd puke. Five Guys has some of the better fries I've had but Tyler's Taproom has even better fries.

I order a burger 99 out of 100 times when we go out to a new restaurant, just because I like trying to find the best one possible. In all the burgers I've eaten, however, I've never had a Kobe burger. I can only imagine how pure it must taste. We have a Bone Fish close to my house and I've heard it's pretty fantastic, so I think I have some even better incentive to go there now :)

Anywho, back on topic, my most recent purchase was a set of Mordaunt Short Avant 906 Floorstanders and the Avant 905 center that I found on Craigslist for $300 for all three - phenomenal deal (MSRP ~$800+)! Fantastic set of speakers. (Attached is not my picture, but the same exact three speakers)

I think you misinterpreted me when I said "pure fryness"

what i meant is that it's basically your average fastfood greasy classic fry.

Haha he is filipino and his mom brought back that generic no name strat form the philipines a couple years ago. He used to really jam on it (white stripes fan, and john mayer fan - weird mix!) so I have no doubt that he will consider this an upgrade.

A shmear of cream cheese, lox, and perhaps some cucumber slices (or tomato slices, but I hate tomato). Adding tuna salad and red onion to the mix is acceptable. And if you're going with tuna salad, you can splash tabasco sauce on the tuna.
But no pork.

I like pumpernickel bagel with peanut butter, cream cheese and jelly:D
