Got this LG 32" LED for my room at Best Buy this past friday, to replace my LG 32" LCD. The original price was $800, but it was on sale for $599. Loving it so far.

Bought the same one. Hanging it tomorrow at the persons beach house i am staying at as a gift for them since they are letting me stay at their place rent free.

I think you upgrade your computer more often than anyone I know. Even more than the greasy, overly-nerdy, upgrade-and-performance-craving antisocial fiends in computer science programs that I occasionally have the unfortunate consequence of meeting.

It's scary, really. :p

Ouch! lol

I prefer the 7" size to the iPads but I'm not sure if I like it yet...

Haha. Actually I was more concerned with selling it before it looses too much value. I know you keep track of my buying trends, so you should know, it is quite the opposite - I don't always upgrade. The Asus MBA conversion is a good example of that - the ultimate 13" to the ultimate 11 to the asus ul20ft. Pretty huge sliding scale of downgrades to me. Shrug.

Two T-Mobile G2s (one for my bro, and one for myself). They offered me a deal I simply couldn't refuse (free upgrade, no fees, $25/mo unlimited data for each)

Would've been nice to get the $20/mo data, but they dropped my voice plan $10 to compensate :D

Dude, that green bag looks SWEET. I want one!

Also grabbed CoD Black Ops for $10, not sure if target's going to cancel that order or not -_-

I think the part I bolded is the only thing you got wrong. :p

She started this Purchase thread and the previous one, and as the biggest shopper at MR, I think that's appropriate that she upgrade her MBP asap. ;)

LOL I didn't mean to sound creepy. I don't think people on here "keep track" of other's purchases, but it just sort of happens since we all browse this thread a lot (Krafty buys a lot of food, Surely loves magnets, or... perhaps eats them). And you're right, it's not really upgrading. Chalk it up to being fickle. I'm just jealous because I haven't got the time or money to do the same, so I end up waiting too long, losing interest, then never really buy anything. :p

haha, thanks abstract!

Haha no not creepy. Maybe petite asian girls who are class president at their pharmacy grad school's usually buy big when it comes to computers. ;)

You loose on the taxes you paid, by the time you're done buying and selling it all how much further ahead are you really going to be? Once you buy it and can't return it, just use it, anything else is lost money and in your case a major, major down grade too!

It could of been the best computer you ever owned.

Could be the best computer I have ever owned haha. But after debate and spending hours at the apple store trying it out and putting it through it's paces with multitasking etc, it is just not for me. If I am not completely happy with the $1500 machine, there is really no point of keeping it.

Anyway, didn't lose anything on taxes or selling - got it off an employee discount. To the average person they may be losing in taxes or selling - but not me!! haha. And I don't think it is a major major down grade ;) I work with Asus, so I basically upgraded everything in that machine at no cost. The only things are the graphics and thinness at this point. But I will take the $1k vs being able to play games that I don't play. ;)

Anyways - last purchase - about $80 worth of canned food for a food drive. 'Tis the season!

I have a theory that if I buy enough of them, I can build a Magneto-like suit.

So far, I have enough for a codpiece.
