So far, I have managed to avoid all of those. Interestingly, I've never been caught in Montgomery County (my hometown) despite all the traps. I did see lots of people caught in front of me though.

Only speeding ticket I have ever gotten was from MD state police. I went through the state maybe a total of 8 times while I was going from VA to WV for school. Literally, 300,000+ miles driven in VA and WV, no speeding tickets. 4 round trips going through MD, about 1,200 miles, 1 ticket. I hate that state...

I, on the other hand, hate VA VA State driving laws are so much harsher then MD for first offenses.
