I got a pair of the Petit Standards and can't freaking wear them. I should have just sized down one in the New Standards... Now I have a 150$ pair of jeans to unload (I wore them twice and therefore can't return them. >< ).

nice .. im thinking of renting a 50mm 1.2 for this short i need to do for school .. 1.5 min or so .. only 60 dollars a week to rent that lens

Ooo manual focus for video? That might be tough, unless your subject is a statue!

Thanks! They used to make a couple female wallets. If you have an iPad you should check out the cases they make.

Despite the -6 weather, I just got a half-green/half-passion ice tea lemonade. Studying nirvana.

Also just went to Winterlicious at Bistro 990. Wasn't amazed. Auberge du Pommier is quite a bit better.

Gah. I can't wait for my lens to come.

Unfortunately these things only last a couple to several months. I should know. I've used up like 3-4 in the past year!

Mine has lasted since 2009 and still going strong... its faded and stretched a bit but its still in one piece . I'm getting a new one soon though.

I'm sure they don't completely disintegrate. But many of mine are stretched out and have floppy edges, extensive bluing (from jeans), and my NYC subway map one is just completely FUBAR. Here's a pic of the 3 I haven't managed to throw out (for some reason). In the background you can see the cheap leather wallet I've been using on and off for 5-6 years. Probably just going to go the moneyclip/cardwallet route soon.

Yeah I see your point haha. Mine isn't quite there yet I am looking for a new wallet that I can alternate from though. I don't want an old man wallet though (only 21)
