Technically is it considered a purchase though when it was free? I got it as a replacement for my faulty 24in ACD that they were unable to repair. I cannot think of any other company other than apple who would have done this. Top notch!

I've got a Sigma 50mm 1.4, it's a great glass but it's too zoomed in for me so I'm stepping it down a bit with the cheaper 35mm.

seems like the 50mm lenses are popular in this thread. I posted earlier that I just ordered a Sigma 50 1.4 myself.

I have the Sigma 50 mm f1.4 and Sigma 30 mm f1.4.

I purchased the 50 mm knowing full well that I wasn't going to use it as often as the 30 mm, but it's certainly a nice lens to own! I almost always grab the 30 mm f/1.4, but I think the 50 mm would be useful when I'm outdoors with friends, where it's more likely that I'll be further away from my subject.

Wow..interesting marketing there. "Pledging" = purchasing right?

Correct. A great way to make a product concept reality that would otherwise be shelved due to high tooling costs and production minimums. The extra appeal is those who back the project will have access to video updates of the production process as it happens - if you like that kind of thing.

A freaking awesome leather-bound case to hold all my retail PC games AND their instruction booklets (... and thus serial keys). $60; but an awesome way to keep all your computer games in one location, or when you move a lot (like me):

Best Buy AND Walmart were sold out of The Social Network on Blu-Ray. So I rented it from Blockbuster. Third time seeing it... absolutely phenomenal film.

... Then just a bunch of fish and chicken for the week, and a couple two liters of Mt. Dew. Gotta eat!

Visited Guu Izakaya in Toronto with the girlfriend for a second time tonight. Last time I visited Guu was last summer, so it's the best Japanese meal I've had in a while. Cheap, too. 8 dishes + 1 dessert + 2 drinks + tax & tip = $80. Omnomnom. Comfortably full indeed.

Apologies for the terrible, overprocessed iPhone photos. Only took a photo of the partially seared tuna we had. Also had: grilled saba mackerel, salmon roe kimchi udon, ebimayo, gyu shabu black sesame beef salad, tofu & garlic sauteed mushroom salad, salmon natto yukke, and enoki hotate bacon. and of course a large mug of wheaty sapporo.

I TOTALLY agree.

I watched the movie three times within a 24 hour period when I rented it.

I've never done that with any other movie, that must mean something lol.

Just received FIFA 10 from Gamefly. Used my Gamefly rewards, so only paid 8 bucks for this.

Also got Ninja Gaiden Sigma and Alone in the Dark for only 29 bucks at Sam's Club

And got the first season of Friends. The only one I needed to complete the series. :D

You do know the Air Max 2011 come out this week don't you? Those are the 2010 version.

A lot of people don't keep up with shoe trends..but simply go into a store, see what they like, try it on, pay and go home. At least that is how I operate.

Had lunch with my girlfriends at panera. BBQ chopped chicken salad was the last thing I purchased. Lunch was a 3 hour affair planning our trip to commemorate our graduation with our doctorates. The options are Orlando (harry potter world, universal, and disney world), London and Paris, Prague, or Austria so far!!

I'm not a fanboy... check my sig. But with that said, your first Mac is an especially exciting purchase. Congratulations! I'm sure you'll love it!

Oh I already love it. I've been using windows for the last 12 years so it's nice to have something new to learn and play with. I find myself doing a lot of googling though lol.
