And finally cured the OCD about the minuscule dent on the bottom of my Macbook and bought a new bottom cover for it.

My friend called me crazy because I had a TINY dent on the bottom as well. Was it an expensive fix? Mine was.

Celebrated the conclusion of my 12 hour long interview (8am to 8pm with 12 different interviewers) at The Johns Hopkins Hospital for residency with 2 things:

white ps3 controller because I always wanted one and
a 10 pack of thank you cards, plus a couple extra special ones for the directors

Tomorrow is dedicated to handwriting thank yous and emailing thank yous as well. Business etiquette man...it's labor!

Also celebrating with much needed sleep. Gnite!

Ha..... isn't there one in the Eaton Centre? I kind of remember that you live near there..........no?

There is. And one on Bloor. And an outlet location in Niagara. Plus Holt Renfrew.

Perhaps I should have rephrased "lazy" as "cheap." :p

I'll get one soon. Just caught up in midterm season, so there's no time to shop at the moment. :)

Went to Wal Mart tonight, and got a new 23' monitor for my MacBook Pro.

Perfect monitor. Loving it so far.

I purchased an iPod nano 6G just so I could review a watch band for it.. :)
I really have no use for it other than that.

You definitely should look into it jessica! I think the G9 would go for $200ish?

I bought a ep1 with a 14-42mm lens for $300. It's a wonderful camera, and leagues more satisfying than the G10/G11 I used to own. The s95 is a different animal though.

The G9 should get like $250+. I wouldn't mind trying out a 4/3's. Some great glass that you can use via adapters that I can't use on my 1 series Canon.

Just placed my first ever order on iPhoto for a photo book. Odd that I haven't tried it before!

Finally came in the mail...Battery charger for Eneloop batteries

Looking to get some Eneloops myself, as the NiMHs I've got are driving me up the wall. I don't need a charger though as I've got a nice La Crosse. Please, keep us updated on how you like the Eneloops.

Are they the officers that preside over the guys in red (sentry guards with furry hats) outside of Buckingham Palace and other places or are they the actual guys in red themselves? Or are all guards of the Queen officers in the British Army?

The guys in red with the bear skins are in the foot guards, part of the Household Division. The Blues and Royals are part of the Household Cavalry and they further form part of the Household Division that guards the Queen. They are the guys in blue tunics with red plumes on their helmets and they carry swords instead of rifles. Can't wait to join up when I leave college!

Ah! I really need to find my user name & password for that site and get back to it.

Definitely. I am tempted to go up to the ep-2, but I got the ep-1 for the main reason of it being so inexpensive. Must wait and be patient.

Just paid $115 to register for the residency matching service. Sorry no pic.

Over at fredmiranda forums. If you get one, try out the 20mm f1.7. Great lens!
Absolutely, the 20 f/1.7 is a great lens on the micro4/3. I liked my Panasonic GF1 a lot, and I'm sure from what I've read the Panasonic GF2 is a worthy replacement for it.

The epl2 looks really nice too. Man the m4/3 is taking off, and I am sure because there is some great glass for it and the potential for use of legacy lenses.
