wordoflife,

The H70 is awesome, it is a closed loop watercooler. I got a 20-25C drop in my temp when i switched to it. Also, very easy to install.

The wiring is really easy to keep looking clean if you get a case with good wire management.

I've got an Antec 900 two, so wire management shouldn't be too hard ... just lazy haha. Glad to hear your set up is working well. It looks nice too! If I ever decide to OC my i5-750, I'll consider the H70

To everyone complaining about HID bulbs/cars with HID's.

1. An improper install into a reflective housing will blind the heck out of just about anyone in front of the car.

2. A proper install into a projector housing, or a retro fit kit, will not blind you.

3. Quite a few cars come with HID's as OEM stock equipment, and have for some number of years now. I had a 2003 Ford Focus SVT, and now a 2005 Audi A4, and both have OEM HID's installed from the factory. Neither are blinding. Both are in the 4300k range, which is a normal, slightly brighter and crisper white light.

4. 6k - 10k is absolutely ridiculous. You will not gain any visbility with this range of bulb. You will look like a complete idiot however.

Purple and/or pink HID's in reflectors annoy the crap out of me, especially if they're driving behind you in a lifted truck.

I hate them too. And besides, the optimal temperature for best lighting is between 4300-6000k. So it's totally idiotic and pointless to install those purple craps.

I bet those headlamps make your car faster too.

And no, you don't need a rearview mirror. It's much easier and safer to just turn your neck 180 degrees and look behind you while driving.

Called learn to use your side mirrors. Ever been in a truck with a cap? Didnt think so. And after driving a 96 S10 with sealed beams where a flashlight cast a shadow over my light path, I will gladly buy and install my own HID's once I get the money for them.

An extra spoiler on top of your spoiler might keep you on the road better. And don't forget about installing the soda cans on your muffler too-- you know how it is with these things, you get caught up and forget all about the checklist.

Its called getting the proper equipment. HIDs in a traditional housings don't restrict the beam. The beam is then cast into the rear view and the side mirrors. Even early HID light setups had caps on the HID that used a reflector assembly to avoid blinding people. Modern HID setups use projectors to keep the beam from blinding traffic, including on coming traffic. In a lot of States retrofitting cars with traditional halogen housings with HIDs is illegal because of the danger they cause to others on the road. If you are going to do it don't be an ass and get the housing instead of just spending $200 on a ebay kit.

I paid $35 thank you...and mine will be going into a projector housing.

No reason to buy a "HID kit" for $35 when you can get a nice set of bulbs (Hoen, Osram) that will perform just as well if not better than the kits. Most often they fail due to cheap ballasts/igniters, and can also cause problems with your car's wiring system, headlight housing, etc.

Unless your car came from the factory with a OEM system or you retrofit, sticking a kit in a reflector or projector system is just silly in my opinion. Most often it's for the look and does not provide much benefit to the driver and other people on the road.

A brilliant little Fisheye lens for my iPhone.

Doesn't cover the entire frame, of course, but still, mad fun for $15. Will be great doing drunken party videos with it.

Where did you get that!? That is really cool!

From DealExtreme. :)

PhotoJojo sells the EXACT same thing for $25, as well as a wide-angle (which is really only useful for the macro bit) for $20, or both for $40. It's a bit pricier but I'm sure PhotoJojo will ship to you much quicker than DealExtreme. I waited AGES for DealExtreme's order to arrive (about a month), but it's just a tiny trinket and I didn't really care. Not sure if you'll have to pay for PhotoJojo's shipping, but DX shipping is always free, worldwide.

[Edit] Focusing distance is pretty impressive. I think I was about a centimetre away for this. The macro adapter would do the same thing, minus all the distortion around the edges. Turns any cellphone, particularly smartphones, into even more fun of a camera.

[Edit2]: Eh, I just found (and ordered) the wide-angle/macro lens as well: http://cgi.ebay.com/Wide-Angle-Macr...582376?pt=PDA_Accessories&hash=item1e615e3368 Also $16. I'll only be using it for the macro bit, since the wide-angle is essentially a cropped fisheye.

I have HID's on my 2010 Fusion as well, only in 4300k. I don't like the blueish lamps, and love the improved visibility xenon lamps give. And yes, the Fusion does have projector headlamps :)

Do your headlights have a slight yellow tint? I am looking for the crisp white with the slightest hint of blue. When I checked the sites 'k' chart, it showed that 5000k was as white as you can get.

Oh and yes, just like everyone else said, it is the type of housing you put the bulb in that reacts on how bright/blinding it will be.

I'll post pics once I put them in.

Mine looks between white and veeeeery slightly blue, depending on viewing angle. I think it's the best choice!
