i have recently decided to move in to somewhere of my own, out of my parents house with my Girlfriend. We have not found a house/flat yet but we are planning on finding somewhere in the coming weeks.

So we were passing an IKEA today in Nottingham and decided to buy a few Essentials so we don't have to spend on everything all at once!

all this came under £80 included was 2 laptop storage shelves (Not Pictured) which were apparently down from £51.89 to £5 to get rid of them!

cant wait to find somewhere to live!

I don't know if you've ever bought ikea stuff before but it won't take long to figure out why it was so cheap to buy...

My lady and I bought some ikea dishes and what nots when we got our first place. It all pretty much turned to crap and we've gotten rid of all of it. In my opinion its worth spending a little more for something of slightly higher quality. You won't regret it.

iPad 2 16GB Wifi for my Mom (black)

Leaving Wednesday to give it to her.

I'm so excited!! She's 63 and hasn't really ever had anything like this. :D

Been taking the day setting it up and getting her a few apps/games.

I had ordered one online Friday at 2:47am but dropped by my Walmart later that afternoon on a whim. Called as I was pulling in and the guy said no one was in line but I better hurry because he couldn't promise anything until I was there. (This was at 4:30pm)...I pretty much ran back to electronics and found him. He told me to stay in electronics. One other lady was there and had talked to another employee. Then some other lady came up and said she was told she could walk around (lie) so they told her she was 3rd. They only had 2 16gb models and that is what myself and the other lady wanted. Needless to say, we walked out happy! She did not!

I tend to buy housewares from IKEA (except for knives and cookware) and find that the issue is mostly with their glassware. Their plates, bowls, mugs & other ceramics are generally fine, but the glassware is literally cheaper than the crap you can get at a dollar store.

I have bought IKEA stuff before and have not had a problem, 90% of the stuff we have at my parents house is ikea and they have been around for years with no problems!

Most lenses work best at -1 stop from the highest. So don't use 1.4 use 2 or 2.8 for somewhat better results.

Yeah, I understand that. I suppose I was spoiled by my 35mm which seems incredibly sharp and crisp even at 1.8.

Anyways, just finally purchased a GF1+20mm kit off of FredMiranda. No purchases for a while. Pictures to come.

That looks awesome! Could you post back with how well the H70 is? Is it even watercooling or what?

My PC looks like a mess inside compared to your tidily done rig.

wordoflife,

The H70 is awesome, it is a closed loop watercooler. I got a 20-25C drop in my temp when i switched to it. Also, very easy to install.

The wiring is really easy to keep looking clean if you get a case with good wire management.

35W 5000K HIDS for my 2010 Ford Fusion

I have these on my accord coupe. They're really nice quality.

As for the people moaning about them, I don't agree in putting them into a reflective housing but my car has projector low beams so its not blinding. It depends on the car your installing it on to.

I think most care about there visability before yours. You dont need a rearview mirror anyway.

I bet those headlamps make your car faster too.

And no, you don't need a rearview mirror. It's much easier and safer to just turn your neck 180 degrees and look behind you while driving.

I highly doubt those lights are being installed for improved visibility. They look really cool, that seems to be #1.
